Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian pengembangan buku ajar berbasis gambar ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa pemahaman siswa pada pembelajaran IPS materi kenampakan alam dan buatan tergolong rendah. Hal ini dikarenakanan stretegi guru yang bersifat monoton dan hanya menggunakan metode ceramah saja dan juga media yang digunakan hanya buku cetak yang biasa. Sehingga siswa tidak semangat dalam belajar. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya buku ajar yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, seperti buku ajar berbasis gambar. Buku ajar berbasis gambar ini mempunyai kelebihan diantaranya (a) mengetahui gambar-gambar kenampakan alam dan buatan, dan tanpa disadari siswa sering melihat sehingga bisa hafal, (b) media ini disesuaiakan dengan karakteristik siswa yang lebih senang bermain dan menggambar dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dari pada hanya mendengarkan penjelasan guru saja. Jadi dengan adanya pengembangan buku ajar berbasis gambar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menghasilkan pengembangan buku ajar berbasis gambar, mengetahui kelayakan buku ajar berbasis gambar dan pengaruh buku ajar berbasis gambar dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa untuk kelas V di MI Islamiyah Jatisari Nganjuk.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D), dengan mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE yang memiliki lima langkah dalam prosedur pengembangannya yaitu Analyze (menganalisis), Design ( mendesain), Develop ( mengembangkan), Implement ( melaksanakan), Evaluate (menilai).. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MI Islamiyah Jatisari Nganjuk dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas V.
Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli isi bahan ajar menunjukkan persentase mencapai 95% yang berada pada kriteria sangat valid, ahli desain mencapai persentase 77,5% yang berada pada kriteria valid, validasi guru mata pelajaran IPS mencapai persentase 77,5% yang berada pada kriteria valid. Kualifikasi kemenarikan bahan ajar diberikan oleh siswa dengan analisis keseluruhan mencapai 94,6% yang berada pada kriteria sangat valid. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar cukup menarik digunakan oleh siswa.

The research of the development of learning book based on the picture is back grounded by the reality that the understanding of student in Social Knowledge Lesson in the main course of natural and artificial appearance includes in low quality. It caused by the teacher’s learning strategy which have monotonous quality, used telling method and the ordinary book as the learning media. So, the student didn’t encourage to study. That is why, the need of appropriate learning book which can raise the study result for student is important such as learning book based on the picture. This learning book based on the picture has excess features such as (a) knowing the pictures of natural and artificial appearance, it unconsciously makes the student often look the picture and memorize it, (b) this media is adapted to the characteristic of student which prefer to playing and drawing than listening to the teacher’s explanation. In short, with the presence ofthe development of learning book based on the picture is able to encourage the study result for student.
The purpose of this research are producing the development of learning book based on the picture, knowing feasibility of learning book based on the picture and knowing the influence of learning book based on the pictureto encourage the study result for five grade student in the Islamiyah Islamic elementary school JatisariNganjuk.
This research uses kind of Research and Development (R & D), adapted from ADDIE model which have five steps development procedure i.e. Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate. The research has been done in the Islamiyah Islamic elementary schoolJatisariNganjuk with the research subject from five grade student.
Based on the validity result from the capacity expertthis learning material indicates the percentage reach 95% which means the criteria absolutely valid, the design expert indicates the percentage reach 77,5% which means in valid criteria, the validation from teacher who teach Social Knowledge Lessonindicates the percentage reach 77,5% which means in valid criteria. The qualification of the interesting learning material is gave by student with overall analysis reach 94,6% which means the criteria absolutely valid. It shows that the learning material quite interesting to use for student.
