Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa pembelajaran IPA pada materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya berdasarkan wawancara kepada guru kelas IV MI Sunan Giri Kota Malang, guru mengatakan bahwa siswa belum dapat sepenuhnya membedakan antara simbiosis mutualisme, simbiosis komensalisme dan simbiosis parasitisme. Dilihat juga dari hasil nilai siswa yang belum memenuhi KKM (ketuntasan standar minimum). Oleh karena itu perlu adanya bahan ajar yang mampu menyajikan bentuk yang menarik dari materi itu sendiri, seperti bahan ajar melalui penambahan CD Pembelajaran. Bahan ajar ini dapat membuat siswa lebih dapat mudah memahami materi hubungan antar makhluk hidup dan lingkungannya bahan ajar ini dapat memperlihatkan siswa tentang perbedaan simbiosis mutualisme, simbiosis komensalisme dan simbiosis parasitisme, dapat juga memperlihatkan proses rantai makanan dan jaring-jaring makanan. Penggunaan bahan ajar IPA dapat membantu siswa memahami dan dapat membedakan materi, karena bahan ajar ini terdapat kegiatan-kegiatan yang harus dilakukan siswa dan juga banyak latihan-latihan yang yang dapat memudahkan siswa untuk memahami materi ini, serta tambahan CD pembelajaran yang dapat memadukan antara teks, animasi, audio dan video yang menjadikan materi menarik untuk dipelajari. Tujuan dari penelitian pengembangan ini menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar dan media pembelajaran yang menarik untuk dipelajari dan mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa melalui penggunaan bahan ajar IPA melalui penambahan CD pembelajaran.
Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D), dengan mengadaptasi dari model Dick and Carey yang memiliki sepuluh langkah dalam prosedur pengembangannya. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MI Sunan Giri Kota Malang dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas IV.
Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli isi bahan ajar menunjukkan persentase mencapai 82% yang berada pada kriteria layak, ahli desain mencapai persentase 80% yang berada pada kriteria layak, validasi guru mencapai persentase 86% yang berada pada kriteria sangat layak. Kualifikasi kemenarikan bahan ajar diberikan oleh siswa dengan analisis keseluruhan mencapai 90%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar sangat menarik digunakan oleh siswa.
Untuk mengetahui adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan bahan ajar IPA melalui penambahan CD pembelajaran, peneliti melakukan pretest dan posttest pada siswa kelas IV MI Sunan Giri Kota Malang. Berdasarkan analisis dengan menggunakan uji T menghasilkan thitung 7,889 dan ttabel 1,729 yang artinya thitung lebih besar dari ttabel. Hasilnya membuktikan bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan terhadap bahan ajar dan media yang dikembangkan. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa bahan ajar IPA melalui penambahan CD pembelajaran yang telah dibuat mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
ENGLISH:
This Development research is motivated by the fact that learning science in the material relationships between living things and their environment based interviews to fourth grade teacher Sunan Giri Islamic Elementary school Malang, teachers say that students cannot fully distinguish between symbiotic mutualism, symbiosis comensalism and symbiosis parasitism. It is also seen from the results of the students who do not get the KKM (minimum standard of completeness). Therefore it is needed to present the teaching materials which are interesting from the material itself, such as through CD learning. Instructional materials implementing this flash media macromedia can show the students could distinguish about the differences symbiosis mutualism, symbiosis and symbiotic parasitism comensalism and also show the process of food chains and food webs. Using natural science instructional material helps students understand and differentiate the material, because in this instructional material there is agendas that have to done by the students and there are many exercises that make them easy to understand the materials, also the CD learning addition fuse the text, animation, audio and video which make it is interesting. The objectives from this research produce the product of instructional material and media of learning which is interesting to learn and describing the students’ result of studying through using natural science instructional material by adding learning CD.
The research of this development uses the type of research which is called Research and Development (R & D), by adapting Dick and Carey model which has ten steps in the procedure development. The experiment was conducted in Malang Islamic Elementary School and specifically the subject of the research is the fourth grade of this school.
Based on the results of the validation of the expert content of teaching materials shows the percentage reaches 82% as the decent criteria, the expert design reaches 80% which also as the decent criteria, validation percentage reaches 86% of teachers who are at very decent criteria. The qualifications attractiveness of the teaching materials provided by the student to achieve a 90% overall analysis. This suggests that a very interesting teaching materials used by students.
To know that there is an increase of learning’s results through teaching materials based on macromedia flash. Researchers conducted a pretest and posttest for the students of fourth grade of Sunan Giri Islamic Elementary School Malang. Based on the analysis using the T test, shows T calculation 7,889 and T table 1,729, it means T calculation is greater than T table, so Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The results prove that there are significant differences in instructional materials and media which are developed. In this case, the understanding of materials of relationship between living things and their environment means that the products which are developed are able to increase and improve the study of the students. It means that the teaching materials which are developed are viable in teaching.
