Kiai dan Habaib: Persepsi Kiai Pesantren NU Kediri terhadap Hadis Dzurriyat Rasul dalam tinjauan teori living Hadis dan konstruksi sosial

Penelitian ini mengkaji persepsi kiai terhadap hadis-hadis yang berkaitan dengan keutamaan dzurriyat Rasul. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan teori living hadis dan konstruksi sosial untuk memahami bagaimana hadis-hadis keturunan Rasul dipahami, diinterpretasikan, dan diterapkan dalam konteks kehidupan pesantren. Pentingnya penelitian ini untuk menyingkap bagaimana tradisi penghormatan terhadap dzurriyat Rasul dibentuk, dipertahankan, dan diwariskan secara turun-temurun melalui mekanisme keagamaan dan budaya yang khas di lingkungan pesantren.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak implementasi hadis-hadis tentang keutamaan dzurriyat Rasul dalam praktik sosial dan budaya di lingkungan pesantren. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik wawancara terhadap kiai dan santri serta pemanfaatan media online sebagai sarana penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hadis-hadis tersebut tidak hanya dipahami sebagai teks keagamaan yang statis, melainkan sebagai elemen yang hidup dan berkembang dalam praktik sosial dan budaya pesantren. Para kiai NU Kediri memandang hadis-hadis mengenai dzurriyat Rasul sebagai dasar untuk memberikan penghormatan dan hak-hak istimewa kepada habaib, yang dianggap sebagai wasiat Rasul.

Dalam perspektif teori living hadis, hadis-hadis ini berfungsi membentuk realitas sosial di pesantren. Penghormatan terhadap habaib tidak hanya merupakan bagian dari tradisi, tetapi juga merupakan manifestasi dari pemahaman teologis dan sosial. Proses konstruksi sosial dalam pesantren melibatkan internalisasi nilai-nilai keagamaan yang menempatkan habaib dalam posisi istimewa dalam struktur sosial pesantren. Keberlanjutan tradisi ini diperkuat oleh peran kiai sebagai otoritas keagamaan yang tidak hanya mentransmisikan ajaran Islam, tetapi juga membentuk persepsi kolektif santri dan masyarakat pesantren mengenai keutamaan dzurriyat Rasul.

Lebih lanjut, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa penghormatan terhadap habaib di pesantren NU Kediri tidak hanya didasarkan pada faktor genealogis, tetapi juga pada kontribusi keilmuan dan peran sosial mereka dalam membimbing umat. Namun, di sisi lain, penelitian ini juga menemukan potensi munculnya stratifikasi sosial antara habaib dan non-habaib, yang dapat mempengaruhi dinamika sosial di pesantren.

This study examines the perceptions of kiai (Islamic clerics) regarding hadiths related to the virtues of the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad. It adopts the theoretical approaches of living hadith and social construction to understand how these hadiths are interpreted, understood, and applied within the context of Islamic boarding school life. The significance of this research lies in uncovering how the tradition of honoring the Prophet’s descendants is formed, sustained, and transmitted across generations through unique religious and cultural mechanisms embedded within the Islamic boarding school environment.

The study aims to analyse the impact of implementing hadiths concerning the virtues of the Prophet’s descendants in the social and cultural practices of the Islamic boarding school. A qualitative method was employed, involving interviews with kiai and students, along with the utilization of online media as a supplementary research tool. The findings indicate that these hadiths are not merely perceived as static religious texts but as dynamic elements that live and evolve within the social and cultural practices of the Islamic boarding school. The kiai of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) in Kediri perceive the hadiths regarding the descendants of the Prophet as the basis for granting honor and special privileges to the habaib, who are viewed as the recipients of the Prophet’s will.

From the perspective of living hadith theory, these traditions function to shape social reality within the Islamic boarding school. Reverence for the habaib is not merely a part of tradition but also a reflection of both theological and social understandings. The process of social construction in the Islamic boarding school involves the internalization of religious values that position the habaib in a privileged status within the Islamic boarding school’s social structure. The continuity of this tradition is reinforced by the role of the kiai as religious authorities who not only transmit Islamic teachings but also shape the collective perceptions of the student and the broader Islamic boarding school community regarding the virtues of the Prophet’s descendants.

Furthermore, this study reveals that respect for the habaib in NU-affiliated Islamic boarding school in Kediri is not solely based on genealogical factors, but also on their scholarly contributions and social roles in guiding the Muslim community. However, the study also identifies the potential for social stratification to arise between habaib and non-habaib, which may influence social dynamics within the Islamic boarding school community.

تبحث هذه الدراسة العلاقة بين كياهي والحبائب في المعاهد الدينية لجمعية الإسلامية نَهْضَة العُلَمَاء (NU) بكديري، وخصوصًا فيما يتعلق بتصور كياهي حول الأحاديث التي تتناول فضل ذرية الرسول. تعتمد هذه الدراسة على نظرية الحديث كائن الحي (living hadith) ومنهجية البناء الاجتماعي(social construction) لفهم كيفية إدراك هذه الأحاديث وتفسيرها وتطبيقها في سياق المعاهد الدينية.

كما تهدف إلى تحليل أثر تطبيق هذه الأحاديث في الممارسات الاجتماعية والثقافية داخل المعاهد الدينية. تعتمد هذه الدراسة على منهجية البحث النوعي، باستخدام مقابلات مع كياهي والطلاب، بالإضافة إلى الاستفادة من الوسائط الإلكترونية كأداة بحثية. وتُظهر النتائج أن هذه الأحاديث لا تُفهم فقط كنصوص دينية ثابتة، بل كعناصر ديناميكية تؤثر بشكل مباشر في الحياة الاجتماعية والثقافية للمعاهد الدينية. يرى كياهي المعاهد الدينية التابعة لجمعية الإسلامية نَهْضَة العُلَمَاء (NU)بكديري أن الأحاديث المتعلقة بفضل ذرية الرسول تشكل الأساس لاحترام الحبائب ومنحهم حقوقًا خاصة، باعتبارهم وصية الرسول.

ومن منظور نظرية الحديث كائن الحي (living hadith)، تعمل هذه الأحاديث على تشكيل الواقع الاجتماعي داخل المدارس الدينية، حيث لا يُنظر إلى تكريم الحبائب على أنه مجرد تقليد متوارث، بل هو تجسيد للفهم اللاهوتي والاجتماعي أيضًا. تتضمن عملية البناء الاجتماعي (social construction) داخل االمعاهد الدينية استيعاب القيم الدينية التي تمنح الحبائب مكانة متميزة، سواء في القيادة الروحية أو في الهيكل الاجتماعي للمدرسة. ويعزز استمرارية هذا التقليد دور كياهي باعتبارهم سلطات دينية لا يقتصر دورهم على نقل تعاليم الإسلام، بل يتعداه إلى تشكيل التصور الجماعي للطلاب ومجتمع المدارس الدينية حول فضل ذرية الرسول.

مع ذلك، تكشف الدراسة أن احترام الحبائب في المدارس الدينية التابعة لجمعية الإسلامية نَهْضَة العُلَمَاء (NU) بكديري لا يعتمد فقط على العامل النسبي (الأنساب)، بل أيضًا على إسهاماتهم العلمية وأدوارهم الاجتماعية في توجيه الأمة الإسلامية. ومع ذلك، توضح الدراسة أيضًا إمكانية ظهور تمايز اجتماعي بين الحبائب وغير الحبائب، مما قد يؤثر على الديناميات الاجتماعية داخل المدارس الدينية.
