Rancang Bangun Website Museum Islam Indonesia K.H Hasyim Asy'ari Menggunakan Metode Prototype

Perkembangan teknologi digital menuntut institusi budaya seperti museum untuk beradaptasi dalam menyampaikan informasi kepada publik secara lebih efektif, termasuk melalui media digital. Museum Islam Indonesia K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari (MINHA), yang menyimpan kekayaan sejarah Islam di Indonesia, belum memiliki website resmi sebagai sarana penyebaran informasi kepada masyarakat. penelitian bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun website resmi MINHA dengan menggunakan metode prototype, yang diimplementasikan melalui platform WordPress untuk memudahkan proses pengelolaan dan pemeliharaan website. Metode prototype dipilih karena memungkinkan interaksi yang intens antara pengembang dan pengguna, sehingga kebutuhan sistem dapat dikenali dengan lebih akurat. Proses penelitian dilakukan dalam lima tahap, yaitu communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, deployment delivery & feedback. Proses pengembangan dibagi menjadi dua proses. Proses pertama fokus pada perancangan struktur dasar website, termasuk navigasi dan konten utama, yang kemudian dievaluasi oleh pihak museum. Proses kedua berfokus pada perbaikan dan penyempurnaan berdasarkan evaluasi pada proses pertama. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, dan wawancara dengan staf museum, dan kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada pengunjung untuk mengevaluasi kegunaan website menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Skor SUS meningkat dari 44,95 pada proses pertama menjadi 83,75 pada proses kedua, website MINHA tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media informasi, tetapi juga sebagai sarana edukasi yang efektif dalam memperkenalkan sejarah dan budaya Islam di Indonesia.

The development of digital technology demands that cultural institutions, such as museums, adapt in conveying information to the public more effectively, including through digital media. The Museum of Islamic Civilization of Indonesia K.H. Hasyim Asy’ari (MINHA), which preserves the rich history of Islam in Indonesia, has yet to establish an official website as a means of disseminating information to the public. In response to this issue, the research focuses on the design and development of MINHA’s official website using the prototype method, implemented through the WordPress platform to facilitate website management and maintenance. The researcher chose the prototype method to enable an intense interaction between the developer and users, so the system's needs can be identified accurately. The research process consisted of five stages, namely communication, quick plan, modeling quick design, construction of prototype, and deployment delivery and feedback. The development process comprised two processes. The first process focuses on the website's basic structure, including navigation and its main content, which the museum later evaluates. The second process focuses on improving and bringing to perfection based on the evaluation in the first process. The researcher collected data using observation, interviews with museum staff, and questionnaires for visitors to evaluate the website using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The research result shows that the SUS score improves from 44.95 in the first stage to 83.75 in the second stage. Therefore, the MINHA website is not only for information media, but also as an effective education facility in introducing Indonesia's Islamic culture and history.
