Abstract
ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini memfokuskan pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab berbasiskan teori Kecerdasan Jamak. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah setiap siswa memiliki metode berbeda-beda dalam belajar bahasa Arab berdasarkan atas Kecerdasan Jamak dan Gaya Belajar yang dimiliki, dan ketiadaan metode pengajaran dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang berdasarkan atas Kecerdasan Jamak siswa dan Gaya Belajarnya.
Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah penggunaan teori Kecerdasan Jamak itu efektif dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara siswa dan kemahiran menulisnya, penggunaan teori Kecerdasan Jamak dalam meningkatkan kemahiran menulis siswa itu lebih efektif daripada meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara siswa, dan ada banyak faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap lebih efektifnya teori Kecerdasan Jamak dalam kemahiran menulis daripada kemahiran berbicara.
Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Peneliti menggunakan pre test dan post test dalam kelompok kontrol dan eksperimen.
Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (١) hasil dari kemahiran berbicara dengan menggunakan teori Kecerdasan Jamak dalam post test untuk kelompok eksperimen adalah rata-rata ٧٩,١٦, beda rata-rata, ٢٣,٣٣, standar deviasi ٧,٣٥, standar kesalahan ٣,٠٠, t-hitung ٥,٥٣٤ dan nilai signifikansi ٠,٠٠٣; dan hasil dari kemahiran menulis dengan menggunakan teori Kecerdasan Jamak dalam post test untuk kelompok eksperimen adalah rata-rata ٧٦,٨٠, beda rata-rata, ١٥,٢٠, standar deviasi ٨,٦٧, standar kesalahan ٣,٨٧, t-hitung ٧,٧٥٧ dan nilai signifikansi ٠,٠٠١; (٢) tingkat efektivitas penggunaan teori Kecerdasan Jamak dalam kemahiran
ABSTRACT
This study focuses on the learning of Arabic based on Multiple Intelligences Theory. The research problems are every student has their own methods in learning Arabic based on their Multiple Intelligences and learning styles, and the lack of teaching methods in learning Arabic that is based on students’ Multiple Intelligences and learning styles.
The hypothesis of this study is the use of Multiple Intelligences theory is effective in improving students’ skill in speaking and writing comprehension, the use of Multiple Intelligences theory in improving students’ writing skill is more effective than in improving students’ speaking skill, and there are many factors that influence the use of Multiple Intelligences theory in improving students’ writing skill is more effective than in improving students’ speaking skill.
The design of this study is experimental study. Thus the researcher determines to use pre test and post test in control and experiment group.
The result of this study is: (١) the result of speaking skill by using Multiple Intelligences theory in post test in experiment group is mean ٧٩,١٦, paired different mean ٢٣,٣٣, standard deviation ٧,٣٥, standard error ٣,٠٠, t-test
٥,٥٣٤ and significant value ٠,٠٠٣; and the result of writing skill by using Multiple Intelligences theory in post test in experiment group is mean ٧٦,٨٠, paired different mean ١٥,٢٠, standard deviation ٨,٦٧, standard error ٣,٨٧, t-test ٧,٧٥٧
and significant value ٠,٠٠١; (٢) the effectively level of the use of Multiple
Intelligences theory in speaking skill is t-test ٥,٥٣٤, this level is higher than t- table ١% (٢,١١) and ٥% (٢,٢٩); and the effectively level of the use of Multiple Intelligences theory in writing skill is t-test ٧,٧٥٧, this level is higher than t-table١% (٢,٥٧) and ٥% (٤,٣٠); (٣) the result of t-test shows that the use of Multiple Intelligences theory in improving writing and speaking skill is effective, then the use of Multiple Intelligences theory in improving writing skill is more effective than in improving speaking skill; (٤) the factors that influence through those results are (١) every student has their own smart and each of smarts is shown by their own characteristics; (٢) students in one smart study the lesson by different learning style; (٣) students with language smart divided into four kinds of language smarts. They are listening smart, speaking smart, reading smart, and writing smart. No student has four kinds of language smarts.
