Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penelitian pengembangan ini dilatar belakangi oleh kenyataan bahwa pembelajaran IPA pada materi fotosintesis berdasarkan wawancara dengan guru kelas 5 MIN Air Kuning Jembrana Bali, guru mengatakan bahwa siswa belum sepenuhnya dapat memeahami materi fotosintesis. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya bahan ajar yang mampu menyajikan bentuk menarik dari materi fotosintesis, seperti bahan ajar yang menggunakan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) media ini dapat memperlihatkan siswa tentang proses terjadinya fotosintesis dengan adanya teks, animasi, audio, dan video yang menjadikan materi menarik untuk dipelajari.
Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D), dengan mengadaptasi dari model Dick and Carey. Penelitian dilaksanakan di MIN Air Kuning Jembrana Bali dengan subyek penelitian siswa kelas 5. Tujuan dari pengembangan ini Untuk mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar IPA menggunakan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) materi fotosintesis siswa kelas 5 MIN Air Kuning Jembrana.tujuan dari pengembangan ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar menggunakan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction), meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan mengetahui tanggapan guru dan siswa dalam menggunakan bahan ajar CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction).
Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari ahli isi bahan ajar menunjukkkan presentase mencapai 84% yang berada pada kriteria layak. Ahli desain buku ajar mencapai presentase 86% yang berada pada kriteria layak. Ahli desain media pembelajaran mencapai presentase 92% yang berada pada kriteria sangat layak. Ahli pembelajaran mencapai presentase 92% yang berada pada kriteria sangat layak. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar menggunakan CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) termasuk dalam kualifikasi baik sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPA.
Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata post test lebih bagus dari pre test yaitu 81,841 > 64,074. Sedangkan pada perhitungan uji t manual didapatkan hasil thitung = 5,88 dan ttabel = 1,729 sehingga thitung > ttabel yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap bahan ajar dan media yang dikembangkan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

The development of research motivated by the fact that the science lesson on photosynthesis material based on interviews with teachers grade 5 MIN Air Kuning Jembrana Bali, teachers said that the student have not been fully comprehend the material photosynthesis. Therefore there needs to teaching materials which are able to present an interesting form of photosynthetic material. like a teaching materials using the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) The media can show the student about the process of photosynthesis in the presence of text, animation, audio, and video which makes the material interesting to study.
The development of research using this type of research development Research and Development (R & D), by adapting an Dick and Carey model. The research was conducted in the MIN Air Kuning Jembrana Bali with Grade 5 the student study subjects. The purpose of this development to know the feasibility of using instructional materials science CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) photosynthetic material Grade 5 MIN Air Kuning Jembrana Bali. The aim of this development is to know the feasibility of teaching materials using CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction), improve student learning outcomes and know the response of teachers and the student in the use of teaching materials CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction).
Based on the results of the validation of the expert content of teaching materials converting the percentage reaches 84%, which is at a decent criteria. Expert design textbook percentage reaches 86%, which is at a decent criteria. Expert instructional media design reaches 92% which percentage is at a very decent criteria. Expert learning percentage reaches 92% of learning which are at a very decent criteria. As a whole can be concluded that the teaching materials using the CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) qualify as good so suitable to be used in learning science.
The result showed an average value of post-test better than the pre test is 81.841> 64.074. Whereas the t test manual calculation of t = 5.88 is obtained and the table = 1.729 so t-count> t-table which means there are significant differences on instructional materials and media which developed. This suggests that the product which suitable to be used in the development of learning activities.
