Abstract
INDONESIA:
Untuk mewujudkan pembelajaran IPS, maka dibutuhkan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) sehingga mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas III khususnya pada Kompetensi Dasar Memelihara Lingkungan Alam dan buatan di sekitar rumah. Pendekatan STM ini dirasa dapat membantu siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang lebih kreatif dan efektif, yang merupakan konsep belajar yang membantu guru dalam mengaitkan antara Sains-Teknologi-Masyarakat dengan materi yang diajarkannya pada situasi yang kini sedang terjadi dekat dengan kehidupan siswa.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Dadaprejo 1 Batu dengan objek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas III-A (sebagai kelas uji coba) yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian pemgembangan ini adalah mendeskripsikan: 1) Hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa melalui bahan ajar IPS yang digunakan di SDN Dadaprejo 1 Batu, 2) Desain pengembangan bahan ajar IPS berbasis Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM), 3) Perbedaan hasil belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar IPS berbasis Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM).
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian pengembangan Research and Development (R & D), dengan mengadaptasi dari model ADDIE yang memiliki lima tahap dalam pengembangannya yaitu Analyze (Menganalisis), Design (Mendesain), Develop (Mengembangkan), Implement (Melaksanakan), dan Evaluate (Menilai).
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa melalui bahan ajar yang digunakan di SDN Dadaprejo 1 Batu masih terdapat 5 siswa yang belum mencapai KKM (65). Kelayakan bahan ajar yang diperoleh dari ahli isi bahan ajar menunjukkan persentase mencapai 95% (sangat valid), ahli desain mencapai persentase 82,5% (valid), guru mata pelajaran IPS mencapai persentase 100% (sangat valid) dan uji coba pada siswa dengan analisis keseluruhan mencapai 89% (sangat valid). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar layak digunakan untuk siswa. Hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan bahan ajar IPS berbasis (STM) Sains Teknologi Masyarakat yaitu hasil perolehan nilai post- test kelas III-A (kelas uji coba) rata-rata mencapai 89,75% dibanding perolehan nilai pre- test yang mencapai 75,04%, data tersebut diperkuat dengan uji t dimana thitung = 5,30 lebih besar dari ttabel = 2,07, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar IPS berbasis Sains Teknologi Masyarakat (STM) untuk siswa kelas III SDN Dadaprejo 1 Batu terbukti mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
ENGLISH:
Social Sciences learning requires the development of teaching materials based Science of Society Technology (SST) in order to improve the learning of students of class III, especially in the basic competence of maintain the natural and artificial environment around the house. The SST approach can help students in the learning process more creative and effective, which is the concept of learning support teachers in linking between the Science-Society-Technology with the material taught in the students' lives. This research was implemented in Dadaprejo Batu, State Elementary School of 1. The object of research are students of class III- A (the experimental class) amounted to 24 students.
The purpose of this development study is to describe: (1) The result of student learning through social science instructional materials in Dadaprejo Batu, State Elementary School of 1, (2) The design of development of social science teaching materials based Science of Society Technology (SST), (3) The differences of student learning outcomes before and after using the social science instructional materials based Science of Society Technology (SST). This research uses the development research (Research & Development/ R & D). This study adapted the ADDIE model which it has five stages in the development, namely the Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate.
Based on the results of research that the results obtained by students through learning materials used in SDN Dadaprejo 1the stone still there are 5 students who have not yet reached the KKM (65). The feasibility of teaching materials from the expert content of teaching materials shows the percentage reaches 95% (very valid), the percentage of design expert reaches 82.5% (valid), Social Science teachers reach a percentage of 100% (very valid) and tests on students with an overall analysis reached 89% (very valid). The results show the decent of teaching materials for students. Learning outcomes before and after using social science of teaching materials based Science of Society Technology (SST) that is the result of the acquisition value of post-test class III-A (experimental class) reached an average of 89.75% and it compared with pre-test grades which reached 75.04%. The data is reinforced by (t) test where tcount = 5,30 which is greater than ttable = 2.07, then H0 is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion is a social science of instructional materials based on Science of Society Technology (SST) for the third grade students of State Elementary School of 1 in Dadaprejo Batu it has proved to improve student learning outcomes.
