Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis karakter didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa kurangnya minat belajar siswa terhadap mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan alam pokok bahasan alat indra manusia yang mengakibatkan rendanya hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini disebabkan karena bahan ajar yang digunakan kurang memenuhi cakupan bahan ajar serta materinya kurang lengkap dan belum mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar berbasis karakter pokok bahasan alat indra manusia, mengetahui spesifikasi bahan ajar, kelayakan bahan ajar, serta hasil pengunaan bahan ajar berbasis karakter.
Metode penelitian ini mengunakan jenis penelitian Research and development (R & D), dengan rancangan penelitian yang diadaptasi dari model Borg and Gall yang memiliki empat langkah dalam prosedur pengembangan yakni 1) tahap pra-pengembangan, 2) tahap pengembangan, 3) tahap uji coba produk, 4) tahap revisi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MI Raudlatul Ulum Ngijo Karangploso dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV.
Spesifikasi bahan ajar berbasis karakter ini berisi 4 bagian yaitu pra- pendahuluan, bagian pendahuluan, bagian isi, dan bagian pendukung. Pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis karakter pokok bahasan alat indra manusia kelas IV dengan hasil uji coba bahan ajar yang dibuat ini menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis karakter pada pokok bahasan alat indra manusia valid digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan hasil validasi dari ahli isi/materi memperoleh persentase mencapai 85,3% yang berarti sangat valid, dan ahli desain memperoleh persentase mencapai 89,2% yang berarti sangat valid serta ahli guru mata pelajaran IPA memperoleh persentase 76% yang berarti valid. Uji coba bahan ajar berbasis karakter terhadap siswa memperoleh persentase mencapai 82,6% yang berarti valid. Sedangkan setelah mengunakan bahan ajar berbasis karakter pokok bahasan alat indra manusia siswa yang memenuhi SKM memperoleh persentase 84% sedangkan siswa yang belum memenuhi SKM memperoleh persentase 16%. Maka dari tes uji coba bahan ajar berbasis karakter dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.
Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar berbasis karakter pokok bahasan alat indra manusia berbasis karakter ini valid dan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar.
ENGLISH:
The development of character-based teaching materials based on the fact that the lack of student interest towards subjects of natural science subjects that lead to human senses lace student learning outcomes. This is because the teaching materials used does not meet the scope of teaching materials as well as the material is less complete and not integrating the values of character.
The purpose of this study produce a character-based teaching materials the subject of human senses, knowing the specifications of teaching materials, the feasibility of teaching materials, as well as the results of the use of character- based teaching materials.
This research method uses the type of research Research and development (R & D), the research design is adapted from the model of Borg and Gall who has four steps in the development of procedures that 1) the pre-development phase, 2) stage of development, 3) test phase product, 4) the revision stage. This study was conducted in MI Raudlatul Ulum Ngijo Karangploso with fourth grade students study subjects.
Specification-based teaching materials of this character contains 4 parts: pre-introduction, introduction, the contents, and the supporters. Development of teaching materials based on the character of the subject of the human senses with class IV trial results that made teaching materials stated that the character-based teaching materials on the subject of human senses valid tool used in the learning process. This is evidenced by the results of the validation of expert content / material to obtain the percentage reached 85.3%, which means it is very valid, and design experts to obtain the percentage reached 89.2%, which means a very valid and expert teachers teaching science to obtain the percentage of 76% which means a valid . The test of character-based instructional materials to students obtain the percentage reached 82.6%, which means valid. Meanwhile, after the use of teaching materials based on the subject character of human senses of students who meet the SKM gained 84% while the percentage of students who do not meet the 16% percentage gain SKM. Then the test trials of character-based instructional materials to improve learning outcomes of students and fit for use in the learning process.
Based on the results of the development is done, it can be concluded that the character-based teaching materials subject character-based human senses is valid and fit for use as teaching materials and to improve learning outcomes.
