Abstract

INDONESIA:

Karakteristik sistem kerja jantung terkait materi peredaran darah kelas V di SD/MI memiliki tingkat pemahaman konsep yang cukup sulit untuk dipahami oleh peserta didik. Pada karakteristik materi sistem kerja jantung tidak cukup jika hanya menjelaskan dengan bantuan media gambar maupun torso. Hal ini dikarenakan, media-media tersebut hanya sebatas media 2 dimensi tanpa menjelaskan secara konkret proses sirkulasi peredaran darah. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan pengembangan alat simulator yang dapat menyimulasikan proses sirkulasi peredaran darah secara konkret. Sehingga peserta didik mendapatkan pengalaman secara langsung yang berdampak pada pemahaman konsep anak.

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan alat peraga simulator IPA untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi sistem kerja jantung kelas V di MIN Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang, mengetahui efektivitas pengembangan alat peraga simulator IPA untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep materi sistem kerja jantung kelas V di MIN Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang, dan mengetahui perbedaan pemahaman konsep antara siswa yang menggunakan alat peraga simulator dengan siswa yang tidak menggunakan alat peraga simulator sistem kerja jantung di MIN Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang.

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseacrh and Development). Desain yang digunakan dalam pengembangan media alat peraga ini adalah menggunakan model desain Borg and Gall. Hasil kevalidan menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan media simulator fungsi jantung terhadap peredaran darah kelas V ini menunjukkan kriteria valid, terbukti dengan prosentase rata-rata perolehan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan 88% menyatakan valid, hasil validasi oleh ahli media pembelajaran menunjukkan 83% menyatakan valid, dan hasil validasi oleh guru mata pelajaran menyatakan 83,3% menyatakan valid. Hasil prosentase tingkat kevalidan pada uji coba siswa kelas V di MIN Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang menunjukkan 82,5% menyatakan valid.

ENGLISH:

The characteristics of the way heart works system which concern on blood circulatory on fifth grade whether in Elementary School or Islamic Elementary School have difficulties enough in understanding the material for students. The characteristics of the ways heart work are not enough if they only explain with picture and the torso. It is because those media have only two dimensions without explaining concretely the process of blood circulatory and the parts of blood circulatory compiler. Therefore, the Simulator development is needed to stimulate the process of blood circulatory concretely. Thus, students get some experiences directly which can impact to their children increasing concept.

The aim of this study are to achieve; Developing the visual aid of natural science simulator in order to advance the understanding of the ways heart work on fifth grade in Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang. Knowing the effectiveness of the development of the visual aid of natural science simulator in order to advance the understanding of the ways heart work on fifth grade in Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang. Getting the differences of understanding between students who use visual aid of simulator concerning on blood circulatory and students who do not use it in Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang.

The method used is research and development methods in order to get a special product and to examine the effectiveness of that product. The design used in the development of this visual aid is Borg and Gall design. The results of validity show that development of visual aid functioning heart to blood circulatory on fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang is valid. It is proven by material expert about percentage average 88% and proven by learning media expert about percentage average 83% then it is also proven by teacher about percentage average 83,3%. The result of percentage of validity which experimented on fifth grade of Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang is about 82,5%.

The result of t-test correlated to manual counted with 0,05 tcount is 4,71 while ttable is 2,14. Because tcount > ttable, so H1 is received. It means that there is differences of understanding between students in fifth grade who use simulator of the way heart works system with students who does not use it in Islamic Elementary School of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang.
