Abstract
INDONESIA:
Pengembangan bahan ajar IPA merupakan salah satu sarana guna membantu memahamkan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Melalui bahan ajar, diharapkan siswa dapat termotivasi dan menumbuhkan kertampilan ilmiah siswa, serta sebagai upaya membiasakan siswa bekerja keras untuk memperoleh pengetahuan, tanpa atau didampingi guru. Bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung proses pembelajaran IPA adalah bahan ajar berbasis Demonstrasi, berupa buku ajar siswa kelas V SD/MI. Materi pokok yang dibahas adalah gaya. Oleh karena itu, produk pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis demonstrasi pada materi gaya dimaksudkan untuk dapat memenuhi ketersediaan bahan najar yang dapat meningkatkan keefektifan dan kemenarikan serta meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V MI Rhoudlotut Tholibin Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang dikemukakan oleh Dick and Carey dengan Sembilan tahap pengembangan. Hasil pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis demonstrasi telah melewati uji validasi ahli isi mata pelajaran, ahli desain, pembelajaran dan guru mata pelajaran IPA MI serta serangkaian uji coba terhadap siswa kelas V MI Rhoudlotut Tholibin Malang.
Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis demonstrasi dalam mata pelajaran IPA memenuhi kriteria valid dengan hasil uji ahli materi mencapai tingkat kevalidan 91,11%, ahli media mencapai 87,27%, ahli mata pelajaran mencapai 90%, dan hasil uji coba lapangan mencapai 94,01%, hasil belajar siswa rata-rata nilai pre-test 66,75 dan nilai post-test 84,00. Pada uji-t manual dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05 diperoleh hasil t hitung ≥ t tabel yaitu 14, 05 ≥
2,093 artinya Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Sehingga, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan terhadap bahan ajar yang dikembangkan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan memiliki kualifikasi tingkat kevalidan yang tinggi, sehingga bahan ajar layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

The science teaching materials development is one of several methods to help students understand the lesson during learning process. Through good teaching materials, it is expected that pupils can be highly motivated and have scientific skills in order to make them more independent in acquiring knowledge, with or without a mentor. The teaching materials that can serve the purpose is demonstration-based one, which is for fifth grade students of elementary school (SD/ MI). In this case, natural forces were taken as the main discussion that aims at providing sufficient teaching materials that rise effectiveness, interest and understanding to the fifth grade students Rhoudlotut Tholibin Islamic Elementary School of Malang, at the same time.
This study uses the research design of Research and Development (R&D) proposed by Dick and Carey with nine stages of development. The result of demonstration-based teaching materials development has been through validity test of lesson content, design experts, learning and subject teachers of science of elementary school, and a series of trials to the fifth grade students Rhoudlotut Tholibin Islamic Elementary School of Malang.
According to the test result, the development of demonstration-based teaching materials has fulfilled the valid criteria up to 91,11%, 87,27% in media experts, 90% in subject teachers, and 94,01% in field trials; with 66,75 as students’ pre-test score and 84,00 in the post-test. In t-manual test by significance level 0,05 obtained result t number >= t table which is 14,05>=2,093, means Rejecting Ho and Accepting Ha. Therefore, there are significant differences among lesson materials being developed. It’s show that the product being developed has high- quality of validity that consequently lesson material which is being developed is appropriate to be used in learning science.
