Abstract
INDONESIA:
Outdoor learning merupakan suatu kegiatan menyampaikan pelajaran di luar kelas, sehingga kegitan atau aktivitas belajar mengajar berlangsung di luar kelas atau alam bebas. Jadi, mengajar di luar kelas (outdoor learning) lebih melibatkan siswa secara langsung dengan lingkungan sekitar mereka, sesuai dengan materi yang diajarkan. Sehingga, pendidikan di luar kelas lebih mengacu pada pengalaman dan pendidikan lingkungan yang sangat berpengaruh pada kecerdasan para siswa.
Pembelajaran tematik merupakan suatu pendekatan dalam pembelajaran yang secara sengaja mengaitkan beberapa aspek baik dalam intramata pelajaran maupun antar mata pelajaran. Pembelajaran tematik lebih menekankan pada keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga siswa dapat memperoleh pengalaman langsung dan terlatih untuk dapat menemukan sendiri berbagai pengetahuan yang dipelajarinya. Melalui pengalaman langsung siswa akan memahami konsep-konsep yang mereka pelajari dan menghubungkannya dengan konsep lain yang telah dipahaminya. Di sisi lain, mengajar di luar kelas merupakan upaya mengarahkan siswa untuk melakukan aktivitas yang bisa membawa mereka pada perubahan perilaku terhadap lingkungan sekitar.
Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Malang dengan fokus penelitian sebagai berikut; (1) Bagaimana perencanaan implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA. (2) Bagaimana implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA. (3) Bagaimana evaluasi implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA. (4) Apa saja faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA.
Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Malang dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif.. Prosedur pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang melalui tiga tahap yaitu: Reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan metode triangulasi data yakni triangulasi sumber, teknik, dan waktu.
Temuan peneliti yang diperoleh ialah; (1) Perencanaan implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA terdiri dari; (a) pemilihan tema (b) menentukan tempat; (c) menentukan waktu; (d) menyusun RPP; (e) melaksanakan outdoor learning. (2) Pelaksanaan implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA meliputi: (a) Observasi; (b) Wawancara dengan narasumber; (c) Diskusi kelompok. (3) Evaluasi implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA terdiri dari; (a) tes perbuatan, (b) tes karakter (tindakan), (c) tes lisan. (4) Faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi strategi Outdoor Learning pada tema “Lingkungan Sahabat Kita” subtema 1 pembelajaran ke 1 kelas VA meliputi; (a) Faktor internal, buku dan lingkungan (b) faktor eksternal, media dan waktu.
ENGLISH:
Outdoor learning is an activity that delivers lessons outside the classroom, so that the activity or activities of learning takes place outside the classroom or outdoors. So, teaching outside the classroom (outdoor learning) engage students directly with their surroundings, according to the material that is taught. Thus, outdoor learning refers to the experience and environment education that affects the intelligence of the students.
Thematic learning is an approach in learning that is deliberately linking some aspects of in both of intra subjects and among subjects. Thematic learning is more emphasis on student involvement in active learning process, so that students can gain hands-on experience and are trained to be able to find themselves a variety of knowledge they have acquired. Through hands-on experience students will understand the concepts what they learnt and connected with other concepts that have been understood. On the other hand, outdoor learning is in an effort to steer students to conduct activities that could bring them on behavior change towards the environment.
This study was conducted in SD Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Malang with research focus as follows; (1) How is the implementation plan of Outdoor Learning strategy on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA. (2) How is the implementation strategy of Outdoor Learning on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA. (3) How to evaluate the implementation of the Outdoor Learning strategy on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA. (4) What are the factors supporting and inhibiting factors of Outdoor Learning implementation strategies on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA.
This study was conducted in SD Brawijaya Smart School (BSS) Malang by using descriptive qualitative approach .. Data collection procedures used observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using an interactive model of Miles and Huberman that through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Validity test of the data used the triangulation method, namely triangulation of data sources, techniques, and time.
The findings obtained by researcher was; (1) Implementation Plan of Outdoor Learning strategies on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA consisted of; (A) choice of theme (b) determining the place; (C) determining the time; (D) developing lesson plans; (E) carrying out the outdoor learning. (2) The implementation plan of Outdoor Learning strategy on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" subtema 1 of first lesson of class VA included: (a) observations; (B) Interviews with facilitators; (C) discussion groups. (3) Evaluation of the implementation of the Outdoor Learning strategy on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA consisted of; (A) attitude test, (b) a test of character (action), (c) oral test. (4) The supporting factors and the inhibiting factors of the implementation of Outdoor Learning strategy on the theme "Environment is Our Friends" sub-theme 1 of first lesson of class VA included; (A) Internal factors, books and the environment (b) external factors, media and time.
