Analisis kesuksesan Opac Slims Perpustakaan SMKN 5 Malang Menggunakan Metode Hot Fit Model

ABSTRAK

Penelitian dilatar belakangi dengan kurang optimalnya penerapan SLiMS seperti tidak adanya fitur inventarisasi, kegiatan sirkulasi secara manual, siswa belum memahami fungsi OPAC, dan Kepala Perpustakaan SMKN 5 Malang menyatakan perlunya analisis untuk mengetahui penyebab OPAC belum memberikan pelayanan optimal. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui tingkat kesuksesan OPAC SLiMS menggunakan teori HOT FIT model. Metode kuantitatif deskriptif digunakan untuk memberikan gambaran objektif mengenai keberhasilan implementasi OPAC SLiMS Perpustakaan SMKN 5 Malang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengimplementasian OPAC pada Perpustakaan SMKN 5 Malang dikatakan sukses dengan semua variabel penelitian dalam kategori tinggi. Adapun variabel yang memperoleh nilai grand mean tertinggi yaitu variabel System Quality dan Service Quality dengan masing-masing sebesar 3,82 yang menunjukkan bahwa kualitas sistem dan layanan perpustakaan sangat memadai bagi siswa SMKN 5 malang. Sementara itu, variabel Structure Organization memiliki grand mean terendah sebesar 3,58 penambahan dan kualitas komputer OPAC serta memperbaiki manajemen fasilitas agar layanan perpustakaan lebih efisien dan optimal.

ABSTRACT

The research was motivated by the less than optimal application of SLiMS such as the absence of inventory features, manual circulation activities, students do not understand the function of OPAC, and the Head of the SMKN 5 Malang Library stated the need for analysis to find out the causes of OPAC not providing optimal service. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of success of the SLiMS OPAC using the HOT FIT model theory. Descriptive quantitative method was used to provide an objective picture of the successful implementation of OPAC SLiMS at SMKN 5 Malang Library. The results showed that the implementation of OPAC at SMKN 5 Malang Library was said to be successful with all research variables in the high category. The variables that obtained the highest grand mean values were the System Quality and Service Quality variables with 3.82 each, which indicated that the quality of the system and library services were very adequate for students of SMKN 5 Malang. Meanwhile, the Structure Organization variable has the lowest grand mean of 3.58 adding and quality OPAC computers and improving facility management to make library services more efficient and optimal.
