Evaluasi mutu dan pe nentuan ni lai Sun Protection Factor (SPF) pada formula tinted lip balm ekstrak etanol 96% bunga sepatu: Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.

Kulit bibir memerlukan perlindungan dari paparan sinar ultraviolet, yang menjadikan tinted lip balm dengan nilai sun protection factor (SPF) penting. Bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) mengandung senyawa flavonoid dan tanin yang menunjukkan potensi sebagai pelindung matahari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan keamanan sediaan tinted lip balm berbahan ekstrak bunga sepatu melalui uji iritasi primer, mengetahui formula yang paling disukai panelis, dan mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi ekstrak bunga sepatu terhadap nilai SPF. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah true experimental laboratory, termasuk uji identifikasi senyawa flavonoid dan tanin secara kualitatif, uji iritasi dengan patch test pada kelinci betina, uji hedonik, dan uji SPF secara in vitro menggunakan spektrofotometer UV-Vis. Hasil uji iritasi menunjukkan iritasi sangat ringan pada kelinci, dengan skor 0,33 untuk formula 0 dan 0,22 untuk formula 1. Analisis uji hedonik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan pada warna dan tekstur, namun tidak ada perbedaan pada aroma. Uji SPF menunjukkan formula 0 memiliki SPF 1,895, formula 1 memiliki SPF 6,379, formula 2 memiliki SPF 9,283, dan formula 3 memiliki SPF 13,621. Kesimpulannya, tinted lip balm ekstrak bunga sepatu aman digunakan berdasarkan uji iritasi primer, sebagian besar panelis menyukai warna dan tekstur dengan konsentrasi bahan aktif tinggi (20%), serta terdapat pengaruh variasi konsentrasi bahan aktif terhadap nilai SPF.

Lip skin requires protection from ultraviolet rays, making a tinted lip balm with an effective sun protection factor (SPF) essential. Hibiscus flowers (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.), an ornamental plant, contain flavonoid and tannin compounds that show potential for sun protection. This study aims to assess the safety of a tinted lip balm preparation based on primary irritation testing, identify the most preferred formula by panelists, and examine the effect of varying concentrations of hibiscus extract on the lip balm's formulation. The research used a true experimental laboratory method, including qualitative identification of flavonoid and tannin compounds in hibiscus extract, an irritation test using the patch test method on female rabbit test subjects, a hedonic test, and SPF determination using UV-Vis spectrophotometry in vitro. The irritation test revealed very mild irritation in rabbit 1 (formula 0 area with a score of 0.33) and rabbit 2 (formula 1 area with a score of 0.22). Hedonic test results analyzed by univariate method showed significant differences in color and texture, but no differences in aroma. The SPF value tests revealed the following SPF values: formula 0 = 1.895, formula 1 = 6.379, formula 2 = 9.283, and formula 3 = 13.621. In conclusion, the hibiscus extract tinted lip balm preparation demonstrated no significant irritation potential based on the primary irritation test, indicating its safety for pre-clinical trials. Most panelists preferred the color and texture of the lip balm with a higher concentration of active ingredients (20%), and there was a clear effect of active ingredient concentration on the SPF values.

تحتاج بشرة الشفاه إلى الحماية من التعرض لأشعة الشمس، لذا هناك حاجة إلى مستحضرات مرطب الشفاه الملونة التي لها قيمة عامل الحماية من أشعة الشمس. الكركديه (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L.) هو نبات زينة يحتوي على مركب الفلافونويد والعفص الذي يظهر إمكانات الحماية من أشعة الشمس. يستهدف هذا البحث إلى إثبات سلامة المستحضرات بناء على اختبارات التهيج الأولية، ومعرفة تركيبة مرطب الشفاه الملون التي يحبها أعضاء اللجنة أكثر من غيرها، ومعرفة تأثير الاختلاف في تركيز المكونات النشطة لمستخلص الكركديه على مستحضرات مرطب الشفاه الملونة. يستخدم هذا البحث طريقة معملية تجريبية حقيقية تتكون من اختبار تحديد نوعي لمركبات الفلافونويد والتانين في مستخلص الكركديه، واختبار تهيج باستخدام طريقة اختبار الرقعة مع إناث اختبار الأرانب، واختبار المتعة، واختبار لتحديد قيمة عامل الحماية من أشعة الشمس لمستحضرات مرطب الشفاه الملون لمستخلص الكركديه في المختبر باستخدام مقياس الطيف الضوئي للأشعة. أظهرت نتيجة اختبار التهيج تهيجا خفيفا جدا في أرنب 1 (منطقة الصيغة 0 بدرجة 0.33) وأرنب 2 (منطقة الصيغة 1 بدرجة 0.22). أظهرت نتيجة اختبار المتعة الذي تم تحليله بطريقة أحادي المتغير اختلاف كبير في اللون والملمس ولكن لا يوجد فرق في الرائحة. نتائج اختبار قيمة SPF هي الصيغة 0 1.895؛ الفورمولا 1 6,379؛ الفورمولا 2 9,283؛ الفورمولا 3 13,621. استنتاج هذا البحث هو أن مستحضرات مرطب الشفاه الملون ليس لها إمكانات تهيج كبيرة بناء على اختبارات التهيج الأولية بحيث تكون آمنة في التجارب قبل السريرية، وقد أحب معظم أعضاء اللجنة لون وملمس مرطب الشفاه الملون بتركيز عال من المكونات النشطة (20٪)، وكان هناك تأثير للاختلافات في مستويات المكونات الفعالة في مستحضرات مرطب الشفاه الملون على قيمة عامل الحماية من الشمس.
