Abstract
INDONESIA:
Disolusi merupakan proses terlarutnya zat aktif dalam medium disolusi. Uji ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelepasan zat aktif dari bentuk sediaannya juga sebagai dasar memperkirakan bioavailabilitas zat aktif di dalam tubuh. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil disolusi yaitu faktor formulasi. Zat aktif yang sama dengan formula yang berbeda dapat memberikan hasil disolusi yang berbeda. Sampel uji merupakan tablet vitamin C dengan variasi komposisi eksipien co-process PBN-Avicel PH101®. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa tablet vitamin C dari eksipien co-process avicel PH 101® dan pati biji nangka (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) memenuhi syarat uji disolusi sesuai Farmakope Indonesia edisi VI sehingga dapat menjamin kualitas sediaan yang telah diformulasikan dan mengetahui kinetika pelepasan sediaannya. Uji disolusi menggunakan dissolution tester apparatus 2, kecepatan putar 50 rpm dalam media air 900 ml pada suhu 37°C selama 45 menit. Kadar vitamin C yang terdisolusi diukur dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis yang telah tervalidasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode spektrofotometri UV-Vis merupakan metode yang valid dengan nilai RSD < 2% (0,412%). Hasil uji disolusi menunjukan bahwa T1, T2, T3, K-PBN, dan K-AVC tidak memenuhi kriteria penerimaan uji disolusi yang tercantum dalam Farmakope Indonesia dengan % terdisolusi vitamin C berturut-turut, 54,271%, 67,283%, 65,7%, 28,14%, dan 62,346%. Kinetika pelepasan vitamin C dari semua formula kecuali T2, mengikuti model Weibull. Dari penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tablet vitamin C dari eksipien co-process avicel PH101® dan pati biji nangka tidak memenuhi persyaratan disolusi sesuai Farmakope Indonesia edisi VI dan kinetika pelepasan vitamin C mengikuti model Weibull dan Korsmeyer-Peppas.

Dissolution is the process of dissolving the active substance in a dissolution medium. This test aims to determine the release of the active substance from its dosage form and the basis for estimating the bioavailability of the active substance in the body. Formulation factors can affect dissolution results. The same active substance with different formulas can give different dissolution results. The test samples were vitamin C tablets with variations in the composition of PBN-Avicel PH101® co-process excipients. This study aims to prove that vitamin C tablets from co-process excipients avicel PH 101® and jackfruit seed starch (Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam.) meet the requirements of the dissolution test according to Indonesian Pharmacopoeia edition VI to ensure the quality of the preparation that has been formulated and determine the kinetics of the release of the preparation. The dissolution test used dissolution tester apparatus 2, rotating speed 50 rpm in 900 ml water medium at 37°C for 45 minutes. The level of vitamin C dissolved was measured by UV-Vis spectrophotometry which has been validated. The results showed that the UV-Vis spectrophotometric method is a valid method with an RSD value of <2% (0.412%). The dissolution test results showed that T1, T2, T3, K-PBN, and K-AVC did not meet the dissolution test acceptance criteria listed in the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia with % dissolved vitamin C respectively, 54.271%, 67.283%, 65.7%, 28.14%, and 62.346%. The release kinetics of vitamin C from all formulas except T2, followed the Weibull model. From this study, it can be concluded that vitamin C tablets from co-process excipients avicel PH101® and jackfruit seed starch do not meet the dissolution requirements according to the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia VI edition and the release kinetics of vitamin C follow the Weibull and Korsmeyer-Peppas models.
