نتائج البحث هي (١) تتألف الصيغة في رواية "آخر أيام الباشا" للكاتبة رشا عدلي بناء على منظور تشارلز ج. فيلمور من ثلاثة أنواع، وهي: صيغة الزمان الذي صيغة الزمان الماضي، الزمان الحاضر، والزمان المستقبل؛ نمط صيغة الظرف الذي يشمل ظرف الدرجة، ظرف المقارنة، ظرف الكمي، وظرف التفسير؛ وصيغة النفي الذي يتمثل في كلمة "لا"، "لم" ولن". (۲) وتألف القضية في رواية "اخر أيام الباشا" للكاتبة رشا عدلي بناء على منظور تشارلز ج. فيلمور من عشرة أنواع وهي حالة الفاعل (Agentive Case) المتمثلة في ضمائر الشخص الأول المفرد، الشخص الثاني المفرد، والشخص الثالث المفردة؛ حالة التجربة (Experiental Case) المتمثلة في "حننت"، "أخشى"، "تجرؤ"، "يضايق" و "احترت"؛ حالة الأداة (Instrumental Case) المتمثلة في وسائل النقل كالسفينة؛ حالة الموضوع (Objective Case) المتمثلة في "تمثالا الفرعونيا"، "الجواري"، و "الزرافة"؛ حالة المصدر (Source Case)؛ حالة الهدف (Goal Case) المتمثلة في "ل"؛ حالة المكان (Locative Case) المتمثلة في أسماء دول مثل فرنسا، إفريقيا، تركيا، وأسماء أماكن مثل المزرعة، الميناء، نهر النيل؛ حالة الوقت (Time Case) المتمثلة في الصباح، الساعة الثانية عشرة ظهراً، والقرون؛ حالة المعية (Collateral Case) المتمثلة في كلمة "مع"، وأخيرا حالة المستفيد (Benefactive Case) المتمثلة في "ل". القضية الأكثر شيوعا في هذا البحث في حالة المكان.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap modalitas dan proposisi dalam novel “Aakhir Ayyam al-Pasha” karya novelis Arab Bernama Rasha Adly, berdasarkan teori tata Bahasa kasus perspektif Charles J. Fillmore. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dan studi pustaka, dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode baca, analisis dan catat. Sumber data primer pada penelitian ini adalah novel “Aakhir Ayyam al-Pasha” karya Rasha Adly yang terbit pada tahun 2019.

Hasil penelitian adalah: (1) modalitas dalam novel “Aakhir Ayyam al-Pasha” karya Rasha Adly berdasarkan perspektif Charles J. Fillmore terdiri dari tiga jenis, yaitu: modalitas kala terdapat modalitas kala lampau, kala sekarang, dan kala yang akan datang; modalitas adverbia terdapat adverbia derajat, adverbia perbandingan, adverbia kuantitatif, dan adverbia penjelas; dan modalitas negasi berupa kata “tidak”; (2) Proposisi dalam novel “Aakhir Ayyam al-Pasha” karya Rasha Adly berdasarkan perspektif Charles J. Fillmore terdiri dari sepuluh jenis yakni: kasus agentif (A) berupa kata ganti orang pertama tunggal, kata ganti orang kedua tunggal, kata ganti orang ketiga tunggal; kasus eksperiens (E) berupa gila, khawatir, berani, kesal, dan bingung; kasus instrumental (I) berupa kendaraan kapal; kasus objektif (O) berupa patung Firaun, budak perempuan, dan Jerapah; kasus sumber (S); kasus tujuan (T) berupa “untuk”; kasus lokatif (L) berupa beberapa nama negara seperti Perancis, Afrika, Turki, dan beberapa nama tempat seperti peternakan, pelabuhan, sungai Nil; kasus waktu (W) berupa pagi, jam dua belas
siang, dan berabad-abad; kasus penyerta (PNY) berupa “bersama”; dan terakhir kasus benefaktif (BEN) berupa “untuk”. Kasus yang paling banyak ditemui adalah kasus lokatif.

ABSTRACT

This research aims to uncover the modalities and propositions in the novel "The Last Days of the Pasha" by the Arab novelist Rasha Adly, based on Charles J. Fillmore's case grammar theory. The study employs a descriptive qualitative research method and literature review, with data collection techniques involving reading, analysis, and note-taking. The primary data source for this research is the novel "The Last Days of the Pasha" by Rasha Adly, published in 2019.

The research findings are as follows: (1) The modalities in the novel "The Last Days of the Pasha" by Rasha Adly, based on Charles J. Fillmore's perspective, consist of three types: Temporal modality, which include past tense, present tense, and future tense; Adverbial modality, which include degree adverbs, comparative adverbs, quantitative adverbs, and interpretive adverbs; Negative modality, represented by the words "no", "did not", and "will not". (2) The cases in the novel "The Last Days of the Pasha" by Rasha Adly, based on Charles J. Fillmore's perspective, consist of ten types: Agentive case, represented by first-person singular, second-person singular, and third-person singular pronouns; Experiential case, represented by expressions such as "mad", "fear", "dare", "annoys", and "confused"; Instrumental case, represented by means of transportation like a ship; Objective case, represented by phrases like "the pharaonic statue", "the maidservants" and the "giraffe; Source case; Goal case, represented by "to" or "for"; Locative case, represented by names of countries such as "France", "Africa", and "Turkey", as well as places like the "farm", the "port", and the "Nile River"; Time case, represented by references such as "morning", "twelve noon", and "centuries"; Collateral case, represented by the word "with"; Benefactive case, represented by the preposition "to" or "for". The most common case identified in this research is the locative case.
