Abstract
ABSTRAK:
Bayam (Amaranthus Spp.) dikenal sebagai sayuran dengan banyak manfaatuntuk tubuh karena memiliki sumber kalsium, vitamin A, vitamin E, dan vitaminC, serat, dan betakaroten, magnesium & zat besi. Di Indonesia, bayam memilikinilai tingkat konsumsi yang tinggi yakni 9,26 g per kapita per hari dan masuk dalammakanan paling banyak dimakan di Indonesia setelah kangkung dengan konsumsi10.46 g per kapita per hari. Usaha dalam meningkatkan produksi dan kulaitasbayam dilakukan melalui penerapan teknologi medan magnet. Tujuan daripenelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh kerapatan fluks magnet terhadapklorofil, magnesium & zat besi pada bayam. Variasi kerapatan fluks magnet (0.1mT, 0.2 mT, 0.3 mT, 0.4 mT, 0.5 mT) selama 10 menit. Hasil penelitianmenunjukkan bahwa paparan medan magnet berpengaruh terhadap klorofil,magnesium & zat besi pada bayam.
ABSTRACT
Bayam Spinach (Amaranthus Spp.) is known as a vegetable with many benefits for the body because it is a source of calcium, vitamin A, vitamin E, and vitamin C, fiber, and beta-carotene, magnesium & iron. In Indonesia, spinach has a high consumption rate of 9.26 g per capita per day and is one of the most consumed foods in Indonesia after kale with consumption of 10.46 g per capita per day. Efforts to increase spinach production and quality are carried out through thde application of magnetic field technology. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of magnetic flux density on chlorophyll, magnesium & iron in spinach. Variation of magnetic flux density (0.1 mT, 0.2 mT, 0.3 mT, 0.4 mT,
0.5 mT) for 10 minutes. The research results showed that exposure to a magnetic field had an effect on chlorophyll, magnesium & iron in spinach.
