Implementasi metode rule based dan binary search untuk pencarian huruf karakter Latin pada aplikasi transliterasi Latin–Arab

Transliterasi Latin Arab merupakan aplikasi alih aksara dari latin ke arab atau sebaliknya dari arab ke latin. Transliterasi Arab Latin memiliki kaidah-kaidah tertentu dari Kementrian Agama dan Kementrian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Namun, kebanyakan Masyarakat tidak mengetahui tatacara penulisan alih aksara ini, sehingga banyak perbedaan dalam penulisannya. Transliterasi ini juga digunakan dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya pendidikan agama islam, yang memuat beberapa istilah kata serapan Indonesia dari bahasa arab. Dalam memecahkan masalah tersebut maka dibuat Aplikasi Transliterasi Latin Arab dengan menerapkan metode Rule Based dan Binary Search untuk pencarian huruf karakter. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menerapkan metode Rule Based dan Binary Search dan Mengukur tingkat akurasi dari metode Rule Based dan Binary Search dalam aplikasi Transliterasi Latin-Arab. Hasil yang dicapai dari aplikasi transliterasi ini menggunakan metode Rule Based dan Binary Search dengan tingkat akurasi transliterasi latin ke arab rata-rata yang diperoleh mencapai 100 % dengan inputan kata maupun serapan percobaan sebanyak 260 kali dan rata-rata waktu 0.016 detik. Dan tingkat akurasi transliterasi dari arab ke latin rata-rata yang diperoleh mencapai 99,6 % percobaan sebanyak 50 kali dan rata-rata waktu 0.026 detik. Saran yang diinginkan untuk pengembangan aplikasi ini diharapkan mampu melakukan alih aksara latin ke arab atau arab ke latin terhadap kalimat maupun ayat-ayat Al-Quran. Format input yang nantinya dapat ditangani oleh perangkat aplikasi ini agar tidak hanya berupa kata, namun bisa dari file ataupun dari gambar. Dan juga untuk format inputannya diharapkan bisa menganalisa kata yang tidak berharakat. Yang terakhir aplikasi ini bisa dikembangkan dalam versi mobile.

Transliteration Latin into Arabic is the application that in not only can move of Arabic letters into Latin letters, but also from Latin letters into Arabic letters. Arabic - Latin transliteration has particular rules of the Ministry of religious affairs and the Ministry of education and culture. However, most of people do not know the procedures how to move Arabic alphabet into Latin. Therefore, there are so many differences in its writings. Transliteration is also used in education, especially Islamic religious education which contains some of the terms Indonesia loan words from Arabic. Because of those reasons, to solve the problem, we created an application to translate Latin – Arabic. It Application created by applying the method of Rule-Based and Binary Search to search the letter of character. The goal in this research is with applying the method of Rule-Based and Binary Search combined with measure the degree of accuracy from the method of Rule-Based and Binary Search in the application of transliteration Latin - Arabic. The results that achieved from this transliteration’s application uses Rule - Based method and Binary Search with accuracy to Arabic transliteration into Latin is average gained 100% with input words or loan words by attempt until 250 times and the average time required 0.016 seconds. And the level of accuracy of the transliteration from Arabic into Latin is obtained average reached 99.6% by the attempt 50 times with the average time which it takes just 0.026 seconds. The suggestion to develop this application is expected to be able to do over the Latin alphabet to Arabic or Arabic alphabet to Latin against the sentences or verses of the Quran. Input formats that would be handled by the application, not just a word, but can be from a file or from a picture. And also for his input format is expected to be able to analyze the words that are not apparent without vowel marks. And the last of these applications could be developed in the mobile version.
