Abstract
INDONESIA :
Grafik pengendali Bivariate Modified Exponentially Weighted Moving Average(BMOEWMA) merupakan grafik pengendali variabel yang berguna untuk mendeteksi pergeseran rata-rata proses yang melibatkan lebih dari satu karakteristik kualitas yang saling berhubungan secara bersama-sama. Mengendalikan satu persatu karakteristik kualitas menjadi tidak efektif dalam mengendalikan produk yang memiliki lebih dari satu karakteristik kualitas. Salah satu grafik pengendali yang dapat digunakan dalam situasi ini adalah grafik pengendali BMOEWMA, yakni lebih sensitif dalam mendeteksi pergeseran rata-rata proses.
Dalam penelitian ini, grafik pengendali BMOEWMA diterapkan pada produksi kertas yang terdiri dari 2 karakteristikkualitas yakni gramathur (...)
dan thickness (...) Analisis data dilakukan pada 3 tahap, tahap pertama mempelajari konsep dasar grafik pengendali BMOEWMA, tahap kedua penerapan
grafik pengendali BMOEWMA dan tahap ketiga mengidentifikasi variabel penyebab terjadinya sinyal out of control. Penerapan grafik pengendali

Pada grafik pengendali BMOEWMA dengan ... terdapat 40 pengamatan yang out of control, dan pada ... terdapat 32 pengamatan yang out of control, ini menunjukkan bahwa grafik pengendali tersebut sangat sensitif dalam mendeteksi pergeseran rata-rata. Terdapat banyak titik yang berada di luar batas kendali, sehingga dilakukan identifikasi variabel penyebab proses out of control untuk perbaikan proses. Variabel yang menyebabkan proses out of controladalah variabel yang nilai kontribusinya lebih besar dari nilai yaitu 3,84146, dalam hal ini variabel yang paling sering menyebabkan out of control adalah variabel thickness (...).

Bivariate Modified Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (BMOEWMA) control chart is a variable chart controller that is useful for detecting the average drag involves more than one quality characteristics that are interconnected each other. Controlling one by one of quality characteristics
become ineffective in a product controlling that has more than one quality characteristics. One of the control charts that can be used in this situation is BMOEWMA control chart, which is more sensitive to detect an average drag of a process.
In this research, the BMOEWMA control chart applied on the paper production that consist of two quality characteristics namely the gramathur (...)
and thickness (...). Data analysis was done on three steps, the first step is studying the basic concepts BMOEWMA control chart, the second step is the applying BMOEWMA control chart and the third step is identifying variables that causes the signal is out of control. Application of BMOEWMA control chart is done in different value, that is when ... and ....
In the BMOEWMA control chart with ...there are 40 observations out of control, and at ... there are 32 observations were out of control, in which indicate that the control charts are very sensitive on detecting the average drag. There are many points are outside the control limits, so that be done by variables identifying variable that caused the process out of control was performedto improve the process. Variables cause the process out of control is variable that its contribution value is biger than the value of .... that is 3,84146. In this case the most often variable that cause out of control is thickness (...).
