Abstract
INDONESIA:
Dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar dipendidikan formal seperti pada tingkat SMP/MTs tentunya tidak lepas dari kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang dilakukan di luar jam sekolah yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bakat, minat dan potensi yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler karya tulis ilmiah bidang IPS di MTs Negeri Batu.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Menjelaskan program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS di MTsN Batu, (2) Menjelaskana penerapan pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS di MTsN Batu, dan (3) Menjelaskan evaluasi penerapan pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS di MTs Negeri Batu.
Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, maka digunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triagulasi. Data di analisis dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi, penyajian data dan penerikan kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagai berikut: (1) Program kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS merupakan kegiatan yang cukup menonjol, kegiatan ini disuguhkan agar siswa dapat mengembangkan potensi di bidang akademik atau non akademik dalam hal menulis dan penelitian, (2) Penerapan pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS ini meliputi: a) kondisi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dimana kondisi tersebut sudah berjalan dengan baik terlihat dari antusias siswa, b) pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dilaksanakan seminggu dua kali yang didalammnya terdari dari kegiatan pembukaan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup, c) tujuan kegiatan pembinaan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS untuk mengenalkan anak-anak menulis supaya anak-anak menyukai meneliti, menumbuhkan rasa ingin tahu anak-anak terhadap sesuatu selain itu juga berusaha membawa nama baik madrasah baik tingkat kota, provinsi maupun tingkat nasional, d) faktor pendorong: motivasi dalam diri siswa, dukungan orang tua, dan antusiasme siswa dan faktor penghambat pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS adalah keterbatasan waktu serta sarana prasarana, e) penanggulangan faktor penghambat pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS adalah dengan adanya madrasah riset dan penambahan alokasi waktu, (3) evaluasi pembinaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler KTI bidang IPS di MTs Negeri Batu dilakukan secara bersama-sama apa yang masih kurang, apa yang dibutuhkan serta melakukan evaluasi dengan cara tanya jawab dengan siswa.
ENGLISH:
The teaching and learning activities in formal education at the level of SMP / MTs must not be separated from extracurricular activities that are conducted outside school hours aims at developing talents, interests and potential of the learners. This researchaimed to describe the development of extracurricular activities of scientific writing in the field of social science at MTsNBatu.
This study aimed to: (1) Describe the program of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS in MTsN Batu, (2) Describe the application of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS in MTsN Batu, and (3) Explain the evaluation of the application of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS at MTsNBatu.
To achieve these objectives, it was used qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniqueused observation, interviews, documentation and triangulation. Data were analyzed by means of data collection, reduction, data presentation and conclusion.
The results showed as follows: (1) The program of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS was an quite prominent activity, these activities were presented so that students could develop the potential in academic or non-academic of writing and research, (2) the application of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS included: a) the conditions of extracurricular activities in which these conditions were already well underway seen from the enthusiasm of students, b) development of extra-curricular activities carried out twice a week which involved a series of opening activity, the core and closing activity, c) the purpose of development of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS was to introduce children to write so that the children liked researching, cultivating curiosity of children against something while also trying to bring the good name of madrasah both municipal, provincial and national level, d) supporting factors: motivation in the students , the support of parents, and the enthusiasm of the students, and the inhibiting factors of the development of extracurricular activities of KTI of IPS were the time constraints and infrastructure, e) the reduction of inhibiting factors of the development of extracurricular activities of KTI of of IPS were the existence of research school and additional allocations of time, (3) evaluation of extracurricular activities coaching of KTI of IPS at MTsN Batu was done together what was lacking and what was needed and doing evaluation by way of question and answer session with students.
