Abstract
ABSTRAK:
Latar Belakang: Skripsi adalah merupakan tahap terakhir dalam perolehan gelarsarjana. Beberapa hambatan yang sering dihadapi seperti kurangnya komunikasimahasiswa dengan dosen pembimbing, kesulitan menentukan topik, sulitnyamencari literatur sebagai bahan untuk skripsi dan tidak bisa membagi waktu antarajadwal kuliah dan skripsi. Tingginya angka stressor dan tuntutan yang harus merekahadapi ketika mengerjakan skripsi membuat mahasiswa rentan mengalami stres.Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan self efficacy dengan academic stress terhadappenyusunan skripsi mahasiswa pendidikan dokter angkatan 2020 UIN. Metode:Menggunakan metode kuantitatif adalah metode untuk mengumpulkan data mulaidari sampel atau populasi yang akan diteliti menggunakan instrumen penelitiankuantitatif yang termasuk juga dengan penelitian korelasional. Hasil: Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara self efficacy dengan academicstress pada mahasiswa angkatan 2020 yang sedang menegerjakan skripsi Denganmemiliki self efficacy yang baik, mahasiswa mampu melihat dan mengatasi masalahdengan sikap positif. Kesimpulan: hubungan yang signifikan dan berlawanan arahantara self efficacy dengan academic stress mahasiswa Pendidikan dokter angkatan2020 yang sedang mengerjakan skripsi. Korelasi yang ditemukan sebesar -0,569,yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakintinggi tingkat self efficacy mahasiswa, semakin rendah tingkat stres akademik yangmereka alami.
ABSTRACT:
Background: The thesis is the final stage in obtaining a bachelor's degree. Someobstacles that are often faced include lack of communication between students andtheir supervisors, difficulty determining topics, difficulty finding literature asmaterial for their thesis and not being able to divide their time between lectureschedules and thesis. The high number of stressors and demands they have to facewhen working on their thesis makes students vulnerable to stress. Objective: Todetermine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress in thepreparation of theses for UIN medical students class of 2020. Method: Usingquantitative methods is a method for collecting data starting from the sample orpopulation to be studied using quantitative research instruments which also includecorrelational research. Results: The research results show that there is arelationship between self-efficacy and academic stress in students of the class of2020 who are working on their theses. By having good self-efficacy, students areable to see and overcome problems with a positive attitude. Conclusion: there is asignificant and opposite relationship between self-efficacy and academic stress in2020 medical education students who are working on their thesis. The correlationfound was -0.569, which is included in the medium category. These results indicatethat the higher the level of student self-efficacy, the lower the level of academicstress they experience.
