Abstract
INDONESIA:
Penerapan kurikulum 2013 mengharuskan seluruh siswa pada jenjang sekolah dasar dari kelas satu sampai dengan kelas enam menerapkan pembelajaran tematik. Wawancara dengan guru kelas IV MIN Bancong dan MIS Al Fatah Dimong Kabupaten Madiun serta observasi di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar yang digunakan dari Kemendikbud pada tema Tempat Tinggalku belum sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan tempat tinggal siswa di Kabupaten Madiun padahal esensi kurikulum 2013 pembelajaran tematik menjunjung aspek kontekstual dan dekat dengan lingkungan tempat tinggal siswa. Selain itu pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum 2013 juga perlu di terapkan melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan Islami yang dilakukan ketika pembelajaran di sekolah pembiasaan seperti ini belum muncul di buku panduan Kemendikbud. Untuk itu penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan produk bahan ajar tematik berbasis Islam & Kearifan Lokal. Kelayakan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan dinilai berdasarkan tingkat kevalidan, kemenarikan, keefektifan dan keterterapan.
Pengembangan bahan ajar tematik ini menggunakan model pengembangan Borg & Gall (1983:775). Langkah-langkah model pengembangan ini dilakukan sampai pada langkah ke-9, yaitu (1) studi pendahuluan, (2) perencanaan, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi produk oleh para ahli, (5) revisi 1, (6) uji coba kelompok kecil, (7) revisi II, (8) uji coba lapangan, (9) produk akhir. Langkah ke-10 ditiadakan karena dalam penelitian ini hanya diperoleh Prototype produk saja sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan. Validasi produk diiberikan kepada ahli materi dan ahli desain. Uji coba produk dilakukan dengan uji coba lapangan kepada guru dan siswa dilanjutkan revisi sehingga didapatkan produk akhir bahan ajar tematik untuk siswa kelas IV Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.
Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar tematik ini berupa (1) bahan ajar tematik berbasis Islam & Kearifan Lokal. Materi yang disajikan adalah materi pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islami dalam kegiatan pembelajaran serta materi tentang kearifan lokal di Kabupaten Madiun seperti bangunan bersejarah, makanan khas, tarian & kerajinan tangan, dsb. (2) tingkat validitas para ahli menunjukkan persentase 89,17% dengan kriteria sangat vallid dan layak digunakan, (3) tingkat kemenarikan menunjukkan persentase 93,12% dengan kriteria sangat menarik dan layak digunakan, (4) tingkat keefektifan menunjukkan persentase 78,01 dengan kriteria sangat efektif, (5) tingkat keterterapan menunjukkan persentase 86,08% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan memenuhi unsur keterterapan untuk dijadikan bahan pembelajaran.
ENGLISH:
The application of curriculum 2013 requires every student of elementary school from first up to sixth graders to apply thematic study. The interview with the teacher of fourth grader of MIN (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (State of Islamic Elementary School)) Bancong and MIS (Private of Islamic Elementary School) Al Fatah Dimong Madiun Regency and also the observation in the field show that the teaching materials used from Ministry of Education and Culture of the theme of ‘My Place’ is not fit in with the condition of students’ place in Madiun Regency while the essence of curriculum 2013 of thematic study is to support the contextual aspect and close with students’ place. Else, the character education in curriculum 2013 must also be applied through Islamic habits which are done in school. These habits are not discussed in guide book from Ministry of Education and Culture. Therefore, this research objective is to develop the product of thematic teaching materials Islamic and local wisdom based. The feasibility of teaching materials which are developed is assessed according to the validity, interesting, effectiveness and application levels.
The development of thematic teaching materials uses development model by Borg and Gall (1979). The development steps are done up to step 9, those are (1) introduction study, (2) planning, (3) product design, (4) product validation by experts, (5) revision 1, (6) small group test, (7) revision 2, (8) field test, (9) final product. The step 10 is eliminated because this research obtains only prototyped product related to the research objective and development. Product validation is given to the experts of materials and design. Product testing is done by testing in field to the teachers and students followed by revision to obtain final product of thematic study for fourth graders of Islamic Elementary School.
The research result and development of thematic study materials are in form of (1) thematic teaching materials Islamic and local wisdom based. The materials are integrated with Islamic values in the teaching and learning activities and the materials about local wisdom of Madiun Regency such as historical buildings, special foods, dances and handicrafts. (2) the experts validity shows percentage of 89.17% with the criteria of high validity and deserved to be used. (3) the interesting level shows percentage of 93.12% with the criteria of high interesting and deserved to be used. (4) the effectiveness level shows percentage of 78.01 with the criteria of high effective. (5) application level shows percentage of 86.08% with the criteria of very good and fulfil the elements of application for teaching materials.
