Abstract
INDONESIA:
Manajemen kesiswaan merupakan suatu penataan atau pengaturan segala aktivitas yang berkaitan dengan peserta didik dari masuk hingga lulusnya. Manajemen kesiswaan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisiensi pelayanan sekolah sehingga berkembang pengetahuan, ketrampilan, dan sikap peserta didik melalui penyaluran aspirasi, harapan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan. Salah satu layanan manajemen kesiswaan adalah kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yaitu kegiatan kurikuler yang dilakukan peserta didik diluar jam pelajaran. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengaktualisasikan potensi peserta didik secara optimal, memantapkan kepribadian peserta didik agar terhindar dari pengaruh negatif, serta menyiapkan peserta didik agar menjadi warga masyarakat yang berakhlak mulia, demokratis, menghormati hak-hak asasi manusia dalam rangka mewujudkan masyarakat madani.
Penelitian ini bertujuan utnuk mengetahui dan menganalisis: (1) Konsep pengembangan potensi peserta didik di MAN 3 Malang dan SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy melalui kegiatan ekstakurikuler (2) Proses pengelolaan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler di MAN 3 Malang dan SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy, (3) Dampak kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bagi peserta didik di MAN 3 Malang dan SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan jenis studi kasus dengan rancangan multikasus. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari: pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data menggunakan kredibilitas, transferability, dependabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengembangan potensi peserta didik dilaksanakan dengan memberikan ruang berkembangnya potensi dan fasilitas bagi peserta didik untuk mengembangkan hard-skill dan soft-skill melalui kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, (2) Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler bersifat terintegrasi dengan kurikulum satuan pendidikan dan dikelola secara khusus oleh bidang kesiswaan yang bekerjasama dengan bidang kurikulum. Perencanaan dimulai dengan pemetaan kemampuan dan minat peserta didik, rekrutmen anggota ekstrakurikuler baru, penyusunan program selama satu semester; pelaksanaan meliputi adanya latihan rutin, ketikutsertaan dalam lomba, dan pendokumentasian hasil lomba; pengawasan dilakukan dengan absensi anggota dan pelatih, evaluasi bulanan, pelaporan dan penilaian tiap semester. (3) Dampak ekstrakurikuler bagi satuan pendidikan adalah: memberikan dan meningkatkan keunggulan satuan pendidikan, serta meningkatnya kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap satuan pendidikan. Dampak ekstrakurikuler bagi peserta didik di MAN 3 Malang adalah berkembangnya sisi kepribadian peserta didik dan di SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy yaitu berkembangnya potensi kepemimpinan peserta didik. Selain itu, juga berdampak pada: terciptanya pembelajaran yang kondusif dan menyenangkan, berkembangnya kemampuan dan potensi peserta didik, mengasah jiwa kompetitif peserta didik, meraih prestasi non-akademik, membekali peserta didik di masa depan.

Students Management is an arrangement of all activities related to the students from it’s begining untill their graduation. Student management aims to improve the effectiveness and eficiency of student services in the school to improve the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of learners through channeling aspirations, expectations and meeting the needs of learners. Extracurricular activity is one student management that held besides curricular activities of students outside of school hours. Extracurricular activities aim to develop and actualize the potential of learners optimally, strengthen the personality of learners in order to avoid negative influences, and to prepare students to become noble citizens, democratic, respecting human rights in order to create better civil society.
This study aims to identify and analyze: (1) The concept of the development student’s potential in MAN 3 Malang and SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy through extracurricular (2) The management of extracurricular activities in MAN 3 Malang and SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy, (3) The impact of extracurricular activities for school and students in MAN 3 Malang and SMAN 10 Malang Leadership Academy. This study uses a qualitative approach with multi-case study design. The Methods of data collection is by interview, observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using an interactive model Miles and Huberman that consist of: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Validity checking of the data using a credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability.
The results showed that: (1) The development of student’s potential implemented by providing space and facilities for students to develop the hard skills and soft-skills through extracurricular activities, (2) Extracurricular activities are integrated with the curriculum of the education unit and managed exclusively by student activity council. The planning began with discovering capability and interest of student, recruitment of new extracurricular members, preparing the programe for the next semester. Actuating by performing routine exercise, taking a part in extracurricular competition, and documenting the results of the competition. Controlling by checking attendance of members and coaches, a monthly evaluation, reporting and assessment of each semester. (3) The impact of extracurricular for education units are: providing and improving the excellence of education unit, as well as increasing public confidence in the education unit. The impact of extracurricular for students in MAN 3 Malang is the development of the personality of students and SMAN 10 Malang leadership Academy is developing the leadership potential of students. In addition, also resulted in: creating of a conducive and fun learning, developing the capacity and potential of students, sharpen the competitive spirit of students, achieving non-academic achievement, equipping students with soft skills and hard-skill to face the future challenge.
