Abstract
ABSTRACT
The internet is the largest global network computers, which founded on a tradition of free access to information. Primarily, this transition used by researcher and government to a commercialized entity, publishers companies like Time Warner to new businesses that unique the Web. This great communication is followed by the development of language. Advertisements as tool to persuade of people has standard to make professional and comfortable. The standard include vocabulary definitions and specific banner sizes.
Based on the above considerations, the writer has problems of study to proof of vocabulary definition which formulated as follow” (1) What is the typical expressions in Internet advertisements., (2) What is the contextual meaning of the English expressions in Internet advertisements, (3) What type of sentence used in English expressions in Internet advertisements?. The subject of this study is advertisements on Internet especially Islamic Web.
The research method use descriptive qualitative which describe the phenomena existing in types of English expressions, contextual meaning and types of sentence.
The result of this study shows that in general, English expressions in Internet uses denotation which has dectionary meaning in sentence Besides lexical meaning advertisements in Internet has contextual meaning; and most of sentence uses imperative sentence. Researcher found that Islamic characteristic has high values in topic or vocabulary and picture. Ones of differences Islamic Web with others is advertisement in this sites not just selling the product but has high values in Islam.
Finally, the writer would like to suggest that it is necessary to present Islamic advertisements in global era to shows that we have capability and professionalism.
