Abstract
ABSTRAK:
Seseorang yang melaksanakan ibadah haji berarti telah terikat dengan larangan ihram. Menghilangkan rambut yang meliputi rambut rontok, mencukur rambut, dan segala hal yang menyebabkan rambut tercabut dari akarnya merupakan larangan ihram. Maka dibutuhkan produk perawatan rambut berupa shampoo untuk mencegah rambut rontok. Produk dari bahan herbal dinilai lebih minim efek samping, salah satunya tumbuhan chia. Tumbuhan chia (Salvia hispanica L) memiliki biji yang kaya akan asam linolenat yang mampu merangsang pertumbuhan rambut dan menguatkan akar rambut. Untuk memaksimalkan kandungan tersebut diperlukan optimasi formula menggunakan software Design Expert metode Simplex Lattice Design. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui komposisi optimum formula prediksi software Design Expert dan karakteristik fisik serta stabilitas fisik sediaan liquid shampoo memenuhi persyaratan yang baik. Optimasi dilakukan menggunakan Design Expert 13 dengan 2 komponen bahan yaitu HPMC dan SLS serta 2 respon yakni viskositas dan tinggi busa. Formula optimum yang didapat dilakukan uji karakteristik dan uji stabilitas. Uji stabilitas dilakukan dengan penyimpanan sediaan pada suhu 4◦C dan 40◦C selama 48 jam. Hasil optimasi formula menunjukkan komposisi HPMC sebesar 0,589307 g dan SLS sebesar 9,41069 g. Pengujian one sample t-test menunjukkan hasil tidak berbeda bermakna p>0,05 pada kedua respon. Sedangkan uji karakteristik fisik dan stabilitas fisik formula optimum memenuhi rentang keberterimaan yang baik pada uji organoleptik, uji homogenitas, uji viskositas, uji tinggi busa, dan uji pH. Pada uji stabilitas, formula optimum tidak memberikan perubahan yang signifikan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa formula optimum dengan komposisi HPMC sebesar (0,589307 g) dan SLS (9,41069) memenuhi persyaratan uji karakteristik fisik dan uji stabilitas fisik yang baik.

ABSTRACT:
The prohibitions of ihram bind a person who performs the Hajj. Removing hair;which includes hair loss; shaving hair; and anything that causes hair to be pulled out fromthe roots; is prohibited in ihram. So; you need hair care products like shampoo to preventhair loss. Products made from herbal ingredients are considered to have fewer side effects;including the chia plant. The chia plant (Salvia hispanica L) has seeds rich in linolenic acid;which can stimulate hair growth and strengthen hair roots. To maximize this content;optimizing the formula using Design Expert software using the Simplex Lattice Designmethod is necessary. This research aims to determine the optimum composition of theDesign Expert software prediction formula and the physical characteristics and physicalstability of liquid shampoo preparations that meet reasonable requirements. Optimizationwas carried out using Design Expert 13 with two material components; namely HPMC andSLS; and two responses; namely viscosity and foam height. The optimum formula obtainedwas subjected to characteristic tests and stability tests. The stability test was carried out bystoring the preparation at 4◦C and 40◦C for 48 hours. The formula optimization results showthat the HPMC composition is 0.589307 g; and the SLS is 9.41069 g. The one-sample t-test showed that the results were not significantly different at p>0.05 in the two responses.Meanwhile; the optimum formula's physical characteristics and stability tests met anexcellent acceptance range in the organoleptic; homogeneity; viscosity; foam height; andpH tests. In the stability test; the optimum formula did not provide significant changes. Itcan be concluded that the optimum formula with an HPMC composition of (0.589307 g)and SLS (9.41069) meets the requirements for an excellent physical characteristics test andphysical stability test.
