Abstract

ABSTRAK

Metode yang akan diterapkan oleh Peneliti di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi adalah Peningkatan Keterampilan Bicara Menggunakan Drama Arab. Alasan peneliti memilih sekolah ini adalah karena Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi termasuk sekolah maju yang berada di bawah naungan Departemen Agama (DEPAG), sekaligus sebagai sekolah percontohan.

Peneliti memilih kelas XII bahasa tahun ajaran 2008-2009 sebagai sample. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah (1) Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi untuk berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Arab?; A. Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi untuk mengucapkan bahasa Arab dengan benar? B. Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi untuk menggunakan kaidah-kaidah bahasa Arab? C. Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi untuk menggunakan kosa kata bahasa Arab? D.

Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kelancaran siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi dalam berbicara menggunakan bahsa Arab? E. Sejauh mana keefektifan drama Arab dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi untuk menyusun kalimat yang bisa memperjelas tujuan pembicaraan antara pembicara dan pendengar? (2) Bagaimana motivasi siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi selama mengikuti pembelajaran bahasa dengan menggunakan Drama Arab?

Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode Experimen (Experiment Research). Peneliti memperhatikan dan membandingkan kemampuan siswa dalam berbicara dengan menggunakan bahasa Arab, sebelum dan sesudah diterapkannya pembelajaran bahasa Arab dengan menggunakan Drama Arab. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian experiment satu kelompok (One Group Method). Populasi dan sampelnya adalah siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) Banyuwangi.

Hasil penelitian ini terangkum sebagaimana berikut: (1) Drama Arab efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan siswa kelas XII bahasa Madrasah

ABSTRACT

The method which will be applied by researcher to Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi is improving speaking ability by using Arabic drama. The reason of researcher to choose this school is based on that the Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi is developed school which under control of Department of Religious Affair (DEPAG), and Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi is as the example school all at once. The researcher chosen class of XII school Ianguage 2008-2009 as sampel.

The problem formulation of this research are (1) How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to speak by using Arabic is?; A. How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to say by Arabic Ianguage truly? B. How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to use grammars of Arabic Ianguage? C. How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to use vocabulary of Arabic Ianguage? D. How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi in conversing to use Arabic Ianguage? E. How effective Arabic drama in improving XII students’ ability of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to compile sentence which can clarify the target of discussion between hearer and speaker? (2) How the motivation of XII students of language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi during their participation in learning language by using Arabic drama is? The research method which is as used is experimental research.

The researcher paid attention and compared the ability of students in speaking by using Arabic language, before and after Arabic language learning by using Arabic drama. The type of research is experimental research white one group method. It’s population and sample are students of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi. The result of this research is summarized as follows: (1) Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi in speaking by using Arabic language; A. Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to say by Arabic Ianguage truly. B. Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to use grammars of Arabic Ianguage. C. Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi use vocabulary of Arabic Ianguage.

D. Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi in conversing to use Arabic Ianguage. E. Arabic drama is effective in improving students’ ability of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi to compile sentence which can clarify the target of discussion between hearer and speaker. (2) Arabic drama could motivate students of XII language class of Islamic High School (MAN) Banyuwangi in Arabic learning.
