Abstract
INDONESIA:
Perkembangan di dunia perbankan yang sangat pesat serta tingkat kompleksitas yang tinggi dapat berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas suatu bank. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi profitabilitas antara lain: beban operasioanal, kredit, dan dana pihak ketiga,. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Non Performing Loan (NPL), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), dan Beban Operasional pada Pendapatan Operasional (BOPO) terhadap profitabilitas perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2015.
Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah metode dokumentasi. Sampel penelitian ini adalah perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2015 dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis data regresi linier berganda, uji simultan, uji parsial.
Hasil penelitian secara simultan NPL, NIM, LDR, dan BOPO berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas perbankan. Sedangkan secara parsial NIM berpengaruh positif terhadap profitabilitas perbankan disebabkan jika suatu bank meningkatkan pendapatan bunga atas aktiva produktif yang dikelola maka laba bank akan meningkat, dan BOPO berpengaruh negatif terhadap profitabilitas perbankan dikarenakan semakin efesien bank dalam pengeluaran biaya/beban dalam menjalani aktivitas usahanya maka semakin meningkatkan laba bank. NPL dan LDR tidak berpengaruh terhadap profitabilitas perbankan,
ENGLISH:
Developments in the banking world is very rapid and high level of complexity can affect the profitability of a bank. The factors the affect to the profitabily of the bank are: operational load, credit, and third party funds. The purpose of this study is to determine the Non Performing Loan (NPL), Net Iinterest Margin (NIM), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), and operating expenses in operating income affect to the profitability of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange at the 2013-2015 period.
This type of research is a quantitative research using secondary data. Methods of data collection in this study use the documentation method. Samples were from banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2013-2015 period by using purposive sampling. This study uses data analysis multiple linear regression, simultaneous test, partial test and coefficient of determination.
The results of the study simultaneously stated that the NPL, NIM, LDR, and ROA has significant effect on bank profitability. While partially NIM has positive effect on bank profitability caused if a bank increases interest on assets managed, the profit will increase, and BOPO negatively affect bank profitability due to the more efficient banks in spending/expenses in the lead business activities, the more boost bank profits. NPL and LDR have no effect on bank profitability.
