Pengaruh rasa aman dalam keluarga terhadap penyesuaian sosial remaja pada siswa-siswi kelas II SMA Muhammadiyah I Malang

ABSTRACT

Adolescent period is represent crisis period where at this period arise many change in adolescent it self. Safeness represent an important soul requirement in human life which the requirement of safeness push an individual to obtain peaceful, regularity and certainty in its environment. Safeness in family represent a requirement which is very needed by a adolescent because fufilled of safeness consequently adolescent will feel happy, confidence, free of self expression, protected and far from feeling fear and worry. With safeness which already obtained in family hence directly in order to socialize with its environment wouldn’t have any resistance. Therefore adolescent can conduct better adjustment, which mean adolescent can play his social role precisely and as according to what expected. In this description writer interesting to perform research about ،،Influence of Safeness in Family Concern to Adolescent Social Adjustment at Second Class Students of Muhammadiyah Public High School of Malang”.

To prove hypothesis in this research, thus data collecting method are likert scale method that is safeness in family scale and social adjustment scale, while sample intake by using purposif sampling because sample are based on the existence of purpose and certain criteria which is second class students of Muhammadiyah Public High School of Malang amount 40 people. Validity test using correlation product moment technique of Pearson, while reability test using Alpha technique with computer auxiliary (SPSS). The result of validity test feel safeness in family scale from 30 item, 29 item valid and 2 item are failed and reliability test with total rtt 0.9132, while social adjustment scale from 30 item, 29 item valid and 1 item are failed and reliability test with total rtt 0,7532.

Furthermore to find out result of collected data are conducted a calculation by using product moment technique. From the data analysis obtained (r = 0.453: sig < 0.05) which mean the existence of a significantly influence between safeness in family (X) to social adjustment (y). While influence level of safeness in family concern to social adjustment is 20.5% which mean social adjustment influenced by safeness in family equal 20.5% the rest 79,5% influenced by other factor. From the calculation result of correlation coefficient (r) obtained amount 0.453, therefore this number indicate of positive correlation which mean as safeness in family which obtained in family increase then the adolescent social adjustment also increasing on the contrary decreasing of safeness in family thus a lower adolescent social adjustment.
