Abstract
INDONESIA:
Krisis sumber daya minyak dan ketergantungan penggunaan bahan bakar fosil khususnya. Indonesia merupakan dasar pengembangan energi alternatif sebagai usaha pemanfaatan energi yang efisien. Salah satu energi alternatif berbasis biomassa dan ramah lingkungan adalah biogas dengan bahan organik tinggi. Salah satu limbah yang tinggi beban organiknya adalah limbah industri perikanan khususnya industri tepung ikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji pengaruh variasi konsentrasi bioaktivator dan lama fermentasi terhadap produksi volume biogas dan kadar gas metan.
Penelitian dilakukan di Laboratorium Mikrobiologi dan Greenhouse Jurusan Biologi Fakultas SAINTEK UIN Malang pada bulan juni sampai september 2016. Penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental, terdiri dari 9 perlakuan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan berupa variasi konsentrasi dan lama fermentasi. Konsentrasi bioaktivator berupa konsentrasi bakteri Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus licheniformis, Cellulosa sp, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas flourescens dengan konsentrasi 0%,10%,20%. Lama fermentasi 10 hari,17 hari, dan 24 hari. Digunakan reaktor tipe batch ukuran 1900 ml dengan substrat limbah cair tepung ikan dan rumen sebagai sumber metanogen sebasar 8% total volume. Data hasil penelitian meliputi volume biogas, kadar gas metan, pH, dan suhu.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variasi konsentrasi bioaktivator dan lama fermentasi tidak berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan volume biogas. Dimana perlakuan bioaktivator 0% lama fermentasi 10 hari menghasilkan volume tertinggi sebesar 20,56 ml. Namun, variasi konsentrasi bioaktivator dan lama fermentasi berpengaruh nyata terhadap konsentrasi metan yakni pada bioaktivator 20% lama fermentasi 17 hari menghasilkan kadar gas metan tertinggi sebesar 73,36%.

The lack of oil resources and dependence on fossil fuels usage. Indonesia is the basis for the development of alternative energy as an efficient energy utilization. One of the alternative energy based on biomass and environmentally friendly is biogas with high organic matter. One of the high burden of organic waste is industrial fisheries waste especially fishmeal. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of variation of bio-activator concentration and fermentation time toward volume production of biogas and methane gas content.
The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Microbiology and Greenhouse Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology UIN Malang in June to September 2016. This study is experimental research, consisting of 9 treatments 3 repetitions. The treatment used a variation of the concentration and length of fermentation. The concentration of bio-activator form of the concentration of Bacillus subtilis bacteria, Bacillus licheniformis, Cellulosa sp, Pseudomonas putida, Pseudomonas flourescens with 0%, 10%, 20% concentration. The Fermentation period were 10 days, 17 days, and 24 days. Used a batch type reactor 1900 ml with liquid waste and fish meal as a source of rumen methanogens 8% total volume. The Data of research includes the volume of biogas, methane gas concentration, pH, and temperature.
The results showed that the variation of bio-activator concentration and fermentation time did not affect the increasing in the volume of biogas. Where the bio-activator treatment 0% fermentation period 10-days produced the highest volume of 20.56 ml. However, the variation of bio-activator concentrations and fermentation time significantly affect the methane concentration at 20% bio-activator, 17 days of fermentation time produced the highest methane gas levels of 73.36%.
