Analisis penerapan sistem informasi dalam mendukung peran hubungan masyarakat: Studi kasus di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan Sistem Informasi dalam mendukung peran Hubungan Masyarakat (Humas) di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang. Latar belakang penelitian mengenai pentingnya Humas dalam institusi publik dan hasil studi awal menunjukkan peningkatan efektivitas proses kehumasan melalui Sistem Informasi Unit Humas yang ada di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini meliputi bentuk Sistem Informasi yang digunakan dalam mendukung peran Humas, upaya meningkatkan akurasi pada Sistem Informasi, dan upaya memaksimalkan efektivitas penggunaan Sistem Informasi dalam mendukung peran Humas. Teori yang digunakan meliputi konsep Sistem Informasi dan konsep Hubungan Masyarakat.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terkait Sistem Informasi dan peran Humas di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Sistem Informasi yang digunakan dalam mendukung peran Humas di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang perlu ditingkatkan dengan menyediakan fitur-fitur yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan operasional Humas dan Sekretariat. Saat ini, terdapat kekurangan fitur-fitur yang mendukung manajemen keuangan, manajemen SDM, dan manajemen sarana prasarana. Untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan sistem informasi, disarankan untuk melakukan evaluasi ulang terhadap pembagian tugas dan memberikan penjelasan yang lebih jelas mengenai fitur-fitur yang disediakan. Dengan langkah-langkah tersebut, diharapkan efektivitas sistem informasi dapat ditingkatkan sehingga mendukung peran Humas secara optimal di LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang.

This research aims to analyze the implementation of Information Systems in supporting the role of Public Relations (PR) at LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang. The research background highlights the importance of PR in public institutions, and preliminary studies have shown improved efficiency and effectiveness in the public relations process through the existing Information Systems in the PR Unit at LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang.
The research problem formulation includes the form of Information Systems used to support the role of PR, efforts to improve accuracy in the Information Systems, and efforts to maximize the effectiveness of using Information Systems in supporting PR's role. The theories applied encompass the concepts of Information Systems and Public Relations.
The research methodology employed is a qualitative method using a case study approach. Data collection techniques involve observation, interviews, and documentation related to the Information Systems and the role of PR at LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang.
The research findings indicate that the Information Systems used to support the role of PR at LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang need to be enhanced by providing features that align with the operational needs of PR and the Secretariat. Currently, there are deficiencies in features supporting financial management, human resources management, and infrastructure management. To improve the effectiveness of system usage, it is recommended to conduct a reevaluation of task allocation and provide clearer explanations regarding the provided features. These steps are expected to enhance the effectiveness of the Information Systems, thereby optimally supporting the role of PR at LPI Ar-Rohmah Putra Pesantren Hidayatullah Malang.
