Abstract
INDONESIA:

In addition, less comfortable working environment had adversely affected the performance of nurses also added to the stress of work. The purpose of this study was to find out how the influence of work stress and work environment on employee performance partially, simultaneously and variables that were the dominant influence on employee performance to nurses in RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan.
This study used a quantitative research with explanatory research type (explanatory research). The location of research was at RSUD Dr. Soegiri Lamongan and the object of research was the nurses-patient class of I, II and III. Samples were taken as many as 50 people of the total population of 101 people by using simple random sampling technique. Data were obtained from interviews and a questionnaire. The data analysis used multiple regression analysis.
Based on the results of analysis about bifilar linear regression showedthe result partially thatstress of work (X1) gave a negative and significant effect to the performance of employeeand work environment (X2) gave a positive and significant effect to the performance of employee. The result of experiment simultaneously showedthat stress of work and the working environment had a significant effect to the employee performance.
