Abstract
INDONESIA:
Bahan ajar yang biasa dipakai siswa adalah LKS. Sekolah hanya menggunakan bahan ajar LKS tanpa adanya handout atau buku penunjang lain sebagai pegangan siswa. Sedangkan dalam pembelajaran IPS kurang efektif apabila hanya menggunakan satu buku. Subtema Kerajaan Islam di Indonesia merupakan salah satu materi dalam pembelajaran IPS . Pada subtema ini siswa dituntut untuk dapat menceritakan perubahan yang terjadi dalam kehidupan manusia dan masyarakat Indonesia dan dampak keberlanjutan dibidang ekonomi, sosial dan budaya.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) menjelaskan desain pengembangan bahan ajar handout berbasis gambar materi Kerajaan Islam di Indonesia, 2) menjelaskan kemenarikan produk yang dihasilkan dalam penembangan bahan ajar handout berbasis gambar materi kerajaan Islam di Indonesia, 3) menjelaskan hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan bahan ajar handout berbasis gambar materi kerajaan Islam di Indonesia kelas V di MIN Sumberjati Kademangan Blitar.
Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Reseacrh and Development. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian dan pengembangan bahan ajar ini mengadopsi dari model desain Borg and Gall.
Pengembangan Bahan ajar ini telah menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar handout berbasis gambar subtema Kerajaan Islam di Indonesia kelas V. Dari hasil validasi bahan ajar ini terbukti valid dengan rata-rata dari validasi isi (materi) 98% meyatakan sangat valid, hasil validasi ahli desain 96% menyatakan sangat valid, dan hasil validasi guru kelas 82% menyatakan valid. Hasil ujicoba kelas V MIN Sumberjati Kademangan Blitar menunjukkan 86% menyatakan sangat valid. Dari hasil analisis data melalui rumus uji t-test menghasilkan Thitung (13,68) > ttabel (1,703), sehingga terdapat perbedaan sebelum dan sesudah siswa menggunakan bahan ajar handout. Maka hasil pengembangan yang telah dilakukan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.
ENGLISH:
Instructional media that is commonly used by student is Student Worksheet (LKS). The school only uses teaching materials of LKS without any handouts or other supporting books as a handle student. While the Social Science learning is less effective when using one book only. Subtheme of Islamic Kingdom in Indonesia is one of the materials in social studies learning. In this subtheme, students are required to be able to tell the changes that occur in people's lives and people of Indonesia and the impact of sustainability in economic, social and culture.
This research aimed to; 1) describe the design of development of handout teaching materials based on image of Islamic kingdom material of Indonesia 2) explain the attractiveness of the product that resulting in the development of teaching materials of handout based on image material of Islamic kingdom in Indonesia, 3) describe the results of student learning that is using teaching materials of handout based image material of Islamic kingdom in Indonesian in the fifth grade at MIN Sumberjati Kademangan Blitar.
Form of research was the method of research and development. The design used in the research and development of these materials was adopted from the design model of Borg and Gall.
Developing teaching materials had produced a product in the form of teaching materials of handout based image of sub-theme of the Kingdom of Islam in Indonesia of class V. From the results of the validation, teaching materials had proven valid with an average of validation of the contents (matter) 98% are very valid, results of validation of design expert was 96%, very valid, and the results of the validation of classroom teachers was 82%, it was declared valid. The test result of class V MIN Sumberjati Kademangan Blitar showed 86% of very valid. From the results of data analysis through t-test formula produced T count (13,68)> t table (1,703), so that there was a difference before and after students were using teaching materials of handout. Then the results of these developments had been able to improve student learning outcomes.
