Terapi infusa pekat buah pare (Momordica Charantia L.) terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan MDA (Malondialdehyde) pada ginjal tikus putih (Rattus Norvegicus) yang diinduksi aloksan

Buah pare (Momordica Charantia L.) banyak digunakan oleh masyarakat sebagai obat alternatif untuk penyakit diabetes mellitus. Obat alternatif lebih diminati dikarenakan rendahnya efek samping yang ditimbulkan. Hiperglikemia pada diabetes memicu pembentukan radikal bebas sehingga terbentuk produk akhir MDA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh terapi infusa pekat buah pare terhadap kadar glukosa darah dan kadar MDA ginjal tikus putih yang telah diinduksi Aloksan. Penelitian dilakukan secara invivo. Ekstrak dibuat dengan metode infusa pekat dengan komposisi 30 gr simplisia dalam 100 mL pelarut air. Variasi dosis yang digunakan yakni 0.15 mL; 0.30 mL; 0.45 mL; 0.60 mL; 0.80 mL; 1 mL /200 g BB. Terapi dilakukan selama 14 hari. Pengukuran kadar glukosa darah sewaktu dilakukan dengan metode enzimatis menggunakan glucometer DR pada hari ke-1 dan hari ke-14. Pengukuran kadar MDA pada ginjal dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode TBARS (Tes thiobarbituric acid-reactive substance. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak infusa pekat buah pare berpengaruh terhadap penurunan kadar glukosa darah dan kadar MDA pada ginjal tikus yang telah diinduksi aloksan. Kemampuan rata-rata terapi infusa pekat buah pare terhadap pemulihan diabetes tingkat ringan sebesar 103,2%, terhadap diabetes tingkat sedang sebesar 70,62% dan terhadap diabetes tingkat akut sebesar 40,51%. Pemulihan seluruh tingkat diabetes mencapai KGD normal pada dosis 0,3mL/200gr BB. Kemampuan ekstrak infusa pekat buah pare dalam menurunkan kadar MDA sebesar 74,42%.

Bitter Melon (Momordica charantia L.) often used by the society as an alternative medicine for diabetes mellitus. The alternative medicine more enthused because it lower side effect. People with diabetes mellitus not only detected by blood glucose level, but also by an increase MDA levels in the body. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of therapy concentrated infuse bitter melon on blood glucose levels and MDA levels on kidney rats that induced by Alloxan. The study was conducted in vivo. Extracts were made with concentrated infuse method with a composition 30 g crude drug in 100 mL water solvent. The dose variation refer to previous studies with the improvement and extension of the range variation, there are 0.15 mL; 0.30 mL; 0.45 mL; 0.60 mL; 0.80 mL; 1 mL / 200 g body weight. Therapy to diabetic rats during 14 days. Test blood glucose levels by enzymatic methods use glucometer DR on day 1 and day 14. Test MDA level in kidney use the TBARS (thiobarbituric acid-reactive test substance) method. The results showed that the extract of concentrated infuse fruit bitter melon fruit (Momordica charantia L.) have an effect on blood glucose levels and a decrease in MDA levels in the kidneys of rats that induced by alloxan. Average ability bitter melon fruit concentrated infuse therapy against diabetes mild recovery of 103.2%, the diabetes rate was at 70.62% and the rate of acute diabetes amounted to 40.51%. Recovery of all levels of diabetes achieve normal blood glucose levels in a dose 0,3mL / BB 200gr. Ability concentrated extract of bitter melon fruit infusion in lowering levels of MDA is 74.42%.
