Abstract

INDONESIA:

Menyaksikan keadaan di Indonesia sekarang ini, belum mencapai kemajuan dalam pendidikan karakter. Dalam rangka membangun karakter yang baik dalam diri anak didik, lembaga pendidikan atau setiap sekolah semestinya menerapkan semacam “budaya sekolah” dalam rangka membiasakan karakter yang dibentuk. Salah satu contoh sekolah yang memiliki budaya sekolah yang kokoh dan islami yang memiliki tujuan dalam membangun karakter siswa dan mempersiapkan siswa mencapai keberhasilan akademis adalah Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Ya Bunayya Pujon Malang. Untuk mendongkrak moralitas dan agama anak didiknya, Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ya Bunayya Kec. Pujon Kab. Malang menstimulus anak dengan kegiatan-kegiatan yang Islami dan bermoral. Salah satunya dengan memberikan kegiatan pembiasaan budaya mutu sekolah, yang di dalamnya banyak kegiatan keagamaan yang terkandung sebuah makna untuk menumbuhkan moral siswa dan menciptakan karakter peserta didik

Rumusan masalah yang diangkat oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, bagaimana budaya sekolah yang dikembangkan di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Ya Bunayya Pujon Malang. Kedua, bagaimana pembentukan karakter siswa melalui budaya sekolah di Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) Ya Bunayya Pujon Malang.

Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data-data diperoleh dengan dokumentasi, wawancara, dan pengamatan langsung di SDIT Ya Bunayya Pujon Malang. Teknis analis data meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verivikasi. Pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan teknik triangulasi dan teknik member check.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa; (1) budaya sekolah yang dikembangkan di SDIT Ya Banayya Pujon Malang yaitu dalam bentuk kegiatan pengembangan diri yang bersifat intrakurikuler (rutin/terstruktur) yang meliputi kegiatan Sholat Berjamaah (shalat dhuha dan sholat dzuhur), Makan Siang Bersama, Tahsin Al Qur‟an Metode Ummi, Tahfidz juz Amma, Apel Pagi, Dzikir Jamai, Iftitah Dirosah (do‟a pagi, hafalan hadist dan sholat dhuha) dan Bimbingan Konseling dan melalui kegiatan pengembangan diri yang bersifat non-rutin. (2) pembentukan karakter siswa melalui budaya sekolah di SDIT Ya Bunayya dilakukan sejak pertama kali siswa masuk. Dalam membentuk karakter pendidik maupun semua pihak melakukan pemantauan yang intesnsif sehingga lahirlah karakter religius, jujur, disiplin, kerja keras, semangat kebangsaan, peduli sosial, peduli lingkungan, tanggung jawab pada diri siswa.

ENGLISH:

In fact, we know the condition of our country—Indonesia, today. It has not made a little headway in character education yet. To build a good character in students‟ individuality, an institution or each school should apply “school culture” to customize the character building of the students. In this case, one of the examples of school which applies school culture is Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang. This school applies Islamic school culture to build students‟ character building and prepare the students to achieve academic goal. To increase the morality and spirituality of students, the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang gives the stimulus to the students by doing many Islamic and moral activities. One of these activities is giving the habit to respect the school‟s quality, which includes many spiritual activities to improve the students‟ morality and create the students‟ character building.

The formula of the issues or problems is taken by the writer in this present research are: first, how do school culture which is developed in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang, second, how do the student character building through school culture in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang.

The type of this present research used by the research is pure descriptive qualitative research. The data obtained by documentation, interview, and direct observation in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang. Technical data analysis includes data collection, data reduction, and conclusion/ verification. Validity checking of the data is conducted by techniques of triangulation and techniques of member checking.

Therefore, the result of this research could be described, those are: (1) school culture that developed in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang is in the form of self-development activities which are intraccurricular (routine/structured) which includes prayer congregation (Dhuha prayer and Dhuhur prayer), lunch together, Tahsin of Al-qur‟an by Ummi method, Memorizing juz Amma,Morning ceremony, Dzikir Jamai (Dzikir together), Iftitah Dirosah or the opening of learning (mornin prayer, memorizing hadith and Dhuha prayer), counseling guidance, and many non-routine activities. (2) the student character building through the school culture in the Integrated Islamic Elementary School (SDIT) Ya Bunayya of Pujon, Malang has been done since in the first grade. Thus, to improve students‟ character building, it is expected that all of the individual does intensive observation to have a religious character, honest, discipline, hard work, spirit of nationalism, social care, environment care, and responsibility in student individuality.
