Abstract

ABSTRAK

Kepala sekolah merupakan penanggung jawab terhadap pelaksanaan dan pengembangan pendidikan. SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3 Malang merupakan lembaga negeri yang mempunyai orientasi membangun budaya organsiasi berbasis Islam dengan memperhatikan respon semua warga sekolah. Budaya organisasi berbasis Islam di SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3 Malang ini adalah sekolah umum dibawah naungan departemen pendidikan nasional (Diknas) Malang yang ingin mewujudkan lembaga pendidikannya dan yang bernuansa dan berbudaya Islam. Dimana dalam setiap kegiatan sehari-hari selalu didasari dengan ajaran-ajaran Islam. Kepala sekolah senantiasa membimbing dan menghimbau kepada warga sekolahnya untuk berpartisipasi mensukseskan pembangunan dan mau mengamalkan ajaran nilai-nilai Islam yang nantinya akan menjadi budaya organisasi berbasis Islam. dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, sekolah sudah mengamalkan nilai-nilai agama yang menjadi budaya organisasi berbasis Islam di sekolah seperti: keadilan, membudayakan 3S (senyum, salam, sapa), do’a bersama, shalat dzuhur berjamaah, berjabat tangan, pendistribusian zakat fitrah, pondok Romadhon, pembinaan rohani Islam. Walaupun pelaksanaannya belum maksimal.

Berdasarkan permasalahan yang ada di atas peneitian ini berupaya untuk mengungkapkan Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya organisasi berbasis Islam di SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3Malang, dengan sub fokus penelitian (1) kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya organisasi berbasis Islam, (2) faktor yang melatar belakangi, (3) dampak yang dihasilkan dari Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya organisasi berbasis Islam di SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3 Malang.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Informan terdiri dari: SMAN 2 Malang yaitu kepala sekolah, guru agama Islam, guru Pembina program BDI,dan beberapa siswa. Untuk SMAN 3 Malang yaitu kepala sekolah, waka penjaminan mutu dan hubungan luar negeri, guru agama Islam, Pembina program SKI, dan beberapa siswa. Sedangkan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi.Dianalisis dengan reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi data.Keabsahan data dicapai dengan menggunakan triangulasi dan pengamatan secara tekun.

Hasil penelitian terhadap Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam membangun budaya organisasi berbasis Islam di SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3 Malang berupa temuan-temuan yang meliputi: kepala sekolah dalam kepemimpinannya menggunakan gaya demokratis dan didasari dengan nilai-nilai ajaran Islam yaitu nilai keadilan, akhlakul karimah, kejujuran, kasih sayang, saling menghormati, kedisiplinan, dan bekerja sama. SMAN 2 dan SMAN 3 yaitu: (a) mewujudkan keadilan untuk semua warga sekolah, (b) membudayakan 3S(senyum, salam, sapa) dan ditambah sopan santun kepada semua warga sekolah maupun setiap ada tamu yang datang ke sekolah, (c) membudayakan berjabat tangan dengan bapak-ibu guru, (d) membudayakan do’a bersama di awal dan akhir pelajaran, (e) membudayakan shalat dzuhur berjamaah untuk melatih kedisiplinan kepada semua warga sekolah, (f) pendistribusian zakat fitrah sebagai bukti kepedulian warga sekolah terhadap masyarakat sekitar dan melatih siswa untuk bersosialisasi dan berinfaq shodaqoh, (g) membudayakan membaca al-Qur’an, (h) mengadakan Pondok Romadhon setiap bulan Puasa Ramadhan, (i) mengutamakan pembiasaan, dan (j) mengutamakan keteladanan dalam membimbing dan mengarahkan warga sekolah, (k) peringatan hari besar Islam (PHBI), pembacaan asmaul husna secara rutin dan mampu mengamalkan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya, (l) membudayakan berbusana Islam ke sekolah.

ABSTRACT

School principal has the responsibility for the implementation and development of education. These SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Malang are the state agency having the orientation of building a Islamic based culture organization with respect to response to all citizens of the school. The culture of Islamic-based organizations in SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Malang are public schools under the auspices of the national education department (Diknas) Malang wanting to accomplish the educational instituition with the Islamic culture and touch in which all daily activities are always based on the teachings of Islam. The school Principal always guides and appeals to citizens to participate in the success of development and practice of the teachings of Islamic values which will be the organizational culture based on Islam. In everyday life, schools have practiced the religious values into the organizational culture based on Islam in school such as: justice, civilizing 3S (smile, say salam, say greetings), joint prayer, Dzuhur prayer in congregation, shaking hands, the distribution of zakat fitrah, class of coottage Ramadhan, the Islamic spiritual guidance. Although its implementation is not maximized.

Based on the existing problems exposed, this research attempted to reveal the principal's leadership in establishing organizational culture based on Islamic value in SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Malang, with sub focus of research (1) principal’s leadership in building a culture of Islamic-based organizations, (2) the factors underlying, (3) the resulting impact of the principal’s leadership in building a culture of Islamic-based organizations in SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Malang.

This study used a qualitative research approach. Informants consisted of: SMAN 2 Malang i.e. the school principal, Islamic religion teachers, teacher coaches of BDI program, and some students. And for SMAN 3 Malang is the principal, deputy head of quality assurance and foreign relations, Islamic religious teachers, teacher coaches of SKI program, and some students. The methods of data collection was done by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Analyzed by data reduction, display data, and verification data. Validity of data was achieved by using triangulation and thorough observation.

The results of the research towards the principal’s leadership in building a culture of Islamic-based organizations in SMAN 2 and SMAN 3 Malang are the findings including: the principal in his democratic leadership style and based on the values of Islam that is justice, good deeds, honesty, affection, respect, discipline, and work together. While the culture of Islamic-based organizations in SMAN2 and SMAN 3 is: (a) bringing about justice for all citizens of the school, (b) civilizing 3S (smile, say salam, say greetings) and adding courtesy to all citizens of the school and every guest coming to school, (c) civilizing shake hands with the teachers, (d) civilizing prayer together at the beginning and end of lessons, (e) civilizing Dzuhur prayers in congregation to exercise discipline to all citizens of the school, (f) the distribution of zakat fitrah as evidence of concern for residents towards surrounding communities and schools to train students to socialize and give shodaqoh, (g) civilizing reading al-Qur’an, (h) establishing class of cottage Ramadhan in the fasting month of Ramadan, (i) giving priority to habituation , and (j) giving priority in guiding and directing exemplary school citizen, (k) anniversary of the Islamic (PHBI), reading asmaul husna regularly and being able to practice the values contained in it, (l) civilizing Islamic dress to school.
