Mitos pantangan menikah pada hari selasa perspektif Fenomenologi dan Al ‘Urf: Kasus di Kecamatan Praya Barat kabupaten Lombok Tengah Nusa Tenggara Barat

ABSTRAK

Mitos Pantangan Menikah Hari Selasa yang terjadi kecamatan Praya Barat Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, dalam larangan ini masyarakat tidak diperbolehkan melangsungkan perniukahan dihari selasa, dan juga tidak diperkenankan melaksanakan acara yangmenyangkut keagamaan maupun adat.

Sesuai konteks penelitian tersebut peneliti mengaji dua hal, yaitu; 1) Bagaimana pandangan masyarakat Kecamatan Praya Barat mengenai makna mitos pantangan menikah di hari selasa. 2) Apa faktor yang melatar belakangi masyarakat Praya Barat
meyakini mitos pantangan menikah hari selasa perspektif Fenomenologi dan Al-‘Urf.

Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Analisis data bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk menggambarkan realita social tentang Mitos Pantangan Menikah Hari selasa di Kecamatan Prata Barat

Hasil Penelitian Ini Menujukan: 1) Pandangan masyarakat Kecamatan Praya Barat mengenai makna mitos pantangan menikah di hari Selasa adalah yang pertama, masyarakat kecamatan Praya Barat menggap bahwa mitos pantangan menikah hari selasa merupakan hal yang harus dilestarikan karena sebuah tradisi atau kebisaan yang turun temurun, kedua masyrakat kecamatan praya barat adalah masyrakat yang kental akan senantiasa patuh pada nenek moyang, ketiga masyarakat Praya Barat memandang makna mitos pernkahan hari selasa adalah adanya rasa takut, adanya Batasan, dan adanya rasa tidak bebas melakukan aktivitas sehari hari karena timbul rasa was-was.2)faktor pertama karena adat dan budaya yang kenntal, kedua karena hari selasa merupakan hari yang tidak baik tempat diciptakan api, ketiga masyarakat kecapatan praya barat menggap bahwa kalau dilaksanakannya acara di hari selasa akan berdampak pada hubungan pernikahannya tidak harmonis, keempat, jika terjadi pernikahan menimbulkan kesenjangan sosial seperti omongan masyarakat kepada yang melaksanakan acara

ABSTRACT

The myth of Prohibition of Marriage on Tuesday that occurred in West Praya subdistrict, Central Lombok Regency, in this prohibition, people are not allowed to hold weddings on Tuesdays, and are also not allowed to carry out events related to religion or custom.

According to the research context, the researcher studied two things, namely; 1) What are the views of the people of West Praya Subdistrict regarding the meaning of the myth of abstinence from marrying on Tuesdays from a Phenomenological Perspective. 2) What are the factors behind the people of West Praya believing in the myth of abstinence from marrying on Tuesday from the perspective of Al-'Urf.

This research is included in field research using qualitative research methods with aphenomenological approach. Data collection is done by interviews and documentation. Data analysis is descriptive in nature which aims to describe the social reality of the myth of abstinence from marrying on Tuesdays in Prata Barat District.

The results of this study indicate: 1) The views of the people of West Praya Sub-District regarding the meaning of the myth of abstinence from marrying on Tuesday are first, the people of Praya Barat sub-district think that the myth of abstinence from marrying on Tuesday is something that must be preserved because of a tradition or custom passed down from generation to generation, second The people of Praya Barat sub-district are a strong community that will always obey their ancestors. The three people of West Praya view the meaning of the myth of Tuesday's wedding as having fear, having restrictions, and feeling that they are not free to carry out their daily activities because of anxiety.2) the first factor is due to thick customs and culture, secondly because Tuesday is an unfavorable day for fires to be created, thirdly, the people of Kecapatan Praya Barat think that if an event is held on Tuesday it will have an impact on the
marital relationship which is not harmonious, fourthly, if there is a marriage causing social inequality such as the talk of the community to those who carry out the event.
