Abstract
ABSTRAK
Pendidikan adalah kunci berkesinambungannya peradaban manusia. Perhatian yang penuh terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan akan berefek pula terhadap semakin tingginya peradaban manusia. Pentingnya manajemen, peran dan fungsi kurikulum merupakan alat yang krusial dalam merealisasikan program pendidikan, baik formal maupun nonformal, sehingga gambaran sistem pendidikan dapat terlihat jelas dalam kurikulum tersebut. Dengan kata lain, sistem kurikulum pada hakikatnya adalah sistem pendidikan itu sendiri.
Atas dasar itu,fokus penelitian ini kemudian dikembangkan dalam tiga sub fokus sebagai berikut: (1)Latar belakang diadakannya rintisan sekolah bertaraf internasional di SMAN 3 Malang (2)Kegiatan manajemen kurikulum RSBI di SMAN 3 Malang dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian kurikulum pendidikan rintisan sekolah bertaraf internasional (3)Dampak yang ditimbulkan terhadap manajemen kurikulum RSBI di SMAN 3 Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan menggunakan studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan meliputi: (1)wawancara mendalam (2) pengamatan terlibat dan (3) dokumentasi. Informan dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik pusposive sampling yang dipadukan dengan snowball sampling. Data yang terkumpul melalui teknik tersebut diorganisir, ditafsirkan, dan di analisis dalam kasus (within analysis). Kredibilitas data dicek dengan prosedur triangulasi, varifikasi data/cross chech, dan pengecekan mengenai kecukupan referensi.
Temuan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut:(1)Latar belakang diadakannya rintisan sekolah bertaraf internasional di SMAN 3 Malang adalah: (a)Adanya Undang-undang nomor 20 tahun 2003 pasal 50 ayat 3,(b)Peraturan Pemerintah nomor 19 tahun 2005 pasal 61 ayat 1,(c)Merupakan salah satu sekolah unggul yang ada di malang, (d)Telah melebihi delapan standar nasional pendidikan, (e)Telah melaksanakan ISO 9001:2000 dan ISO 9001:2008, (f)Ditunjuk langsung oleh Direktorat Pendidikan Nasional.
Kegiatan manajemen kurikulum RSBI di SMAN 3 Malang dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi/penilaian kurikulum sebagai berikut:(1)Perencanaan kurikulim (a)Melaksanakn worksop kurikulum dengan menyusun berbagai instrumen dan materi pelajaran serta silabus dan RPP(b)Melaksanakan analisis konters terhadap kurikulum nasional dan internasional(c)Memberikan peluag bagi guru untuk melanjutkan studi lanjut S-2dalam dan luar negeri(d)Membuka layanan ujian sertifikat internasional(cambridge).(2)Pelaksanaankurikulum(a)Mengedepanka n nila-nil yang dikembangkan(b)Proses pembelajaran, khusus mata pelajaran MIPA menggunakan bilingual(c)Kurikulum yang di gunakan adalah kurikulum adaptif yakni adaptasi dan adopsi kurikulum internasional (cambridge) (3)Evaluasi/penilaian kurikulum (a) UHT, UTS, UAS,UKK, dan ujian sertifikat Cambridge.
Dampak yang ditimbulkan terhadap manajemen kurikulum RSBI di SMAN 3 Malang sebagai berikut (a)Sekolah berusaha bagaimana melampaui standar nasional pendidkan (b)Guru berusaha sedemikian rupa sehingga bisa melaksanakan proses pembelajaran dengan baik, mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian, (3)Motivasi siswa lebih tinggi sehingga dalam prosesnya menjadi lebih menarik, lebih intraktif, dan penilaiannya lebih menantang karena tidak hanya penilaian konfensional tapi juga secara internasional.
ABSTRACT
Education is the key for the human civilization sustainability. The improving of education quality is fully attend that it has effect to increase human civilization higlely in realization of education programme is used management and curriculum function that are crusial toots, both formal and non-formal liatil the education system form can be seen clearly in the curriculum. In other words, the curriculum system in essen tially is education system itself.
On the basic above, this research was focused into three sub focus as follows: (1) The Background is held the International Standard School Pilot at State Senior High School 3rd of Malang, (2) The curriculum management activity of the International Standard School Pilot in state Senior High School 3rd Malang for the planning, implementation and evaluation of educational Curriculum in International Standard School Pilot, (3) the impact is caused by curriculum management of International Standard School Pilot in state Senior High School 3rd of Malang.
This research is based a qualitative approach, that is form case studies. The technique for collection Data is used as below: (1) In-depth interviews, (2) observation participation, and (3) documentation. Informants were selected by using purposive sampling technique that is combining with snowball sampling. Datas are collected through these techniques, that are organized, interpreted and analyzed in the case (within analysis).
The findings of this research were as follows: (1) The Background is held the International Standard School Pilot at State Senior High School 3rd of Malang are: (a) There are rule of Law at Number 20 in 2003, subsection 50, verse 3, (b) government regulation is number 19 in 2005, subsection 61, verse 1, (c) One of the excellent schools in Malang, (d) that has exceeded the eight of educational national standard, (e) that has been implementing ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 9001:2008, (f) that is appointed directly by the Directorate of National Education.
The curriculum Management activities in the International Standard School Pilot at State Senior High School 3rd of Malang for the planning, implementation, and evaluation or assessment of the curriculum as follows: (1) curriculum planning, (a) there is workshop curriculum for arranging some of instruments and materials learning are like syllabus and RPP
Between national curriculum and international curriculum, (c) opportunities are providing for teachers to pursue advanced studies at post graduate (S-2) in Indonesia and abroad, (d) opening of service for examanition of getting an international certificate ( such as Cambridge). (2) curriculum implementation, (a) promoting the values that are developed, (b) the learning process, specifically for the subjects Mathematics and Science are using a bilingual (c) The curriculum that is used the adaptive curriculum as to adapt and adoption from an international curriculum (such as cambridge). (3) curriculum evaluation or assessment, (a) UHT (daily structured deuteronomy), UTS (the middle examination of school), UAS (the final examination of School), UKK and Cambridge certificate examination.
The Impact are caused by curriculum management of International Standard School Pilot (RSBI) in State Senior High School 3rd of Malang as follows (a) the school is trying how to exceed the standards of national education, (b) The teachers have tried how to implement learning process properly, that starts from planning, implementation and assessment, (c) Motivation of students is higher until the learning process becomes more attractive, more interactive and it’s assessment becomes challenging because that is not only conventional assessment but also used international assessment.
