Abstract

INDONESIA:

Serangga tanah merupakan komponen penting dalam tanah. Serangga tanah memiliki peran penting dalam keseimbangan ekosistem. Keberadaan serangga tanah sangat dipengaruhi oleh faktor lingkungan tanah. Keseimbangan ekosistem dapat berubah karena aktivitas manusia, misal pemberian herbisida. Perubahan tersebut diduga dapat berpengaruh pada faktor fisika dan kimia dalam tanah dan kepadatan serangga tanahnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kebun Kopi PTPN XII Desa Bangelan, Kecamatan Wonosari, Kabupaten Malang ini diambil pada lahan Tanaman Kopi yang Belum Menghasilkan (TKBM) yang tanpa diberi herbisda dan lahan Tanaman Kopi yang Menghasilkan (TKM) yang diberi herbisida. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kepadatan serangga tanah dan hubungannya dengan faktor fisika dan kimia tanah pada lahan TKBM maupun lahan TKM.

Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari-Maret 2016. Pengambilan sampel di lahan TKBM dan lahan TKM Kebun Kopi PTPN XII Desa Bangelan, Kecamatan Wonosari, Kabupaten Malang. Sedangkan identifikasi dilakukan di laboratorium Optik Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi UIN Malang. Metode pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode hand sorting dengan soil sampler di tiap plot (ada 10 plot) pada garis transek sepanjang 50 meter (3 transek tiap lahan/stasiun). Analisis data menggunakan rumus kepadatan jenis dan kepadatan relatif serta uji korelasi antara kepadatan serangga tanah dengan faktor fisika dan kimia tanah menggunakan koefisien korelasi Pearson dengan PAST ver. 3.12.

Kepadatan jenis dan kepadatan relatif serangga tanah pada lahan TKBM memiliki 17 famili dari seluruh famili (27 famili) lebih tinggi dibandingkan pada lahan TKM. Kepadatan jenis serangga tanah tertinggi pada lahan TKBM kebun kopi PTPN XII yakni serangga tanah ordo Isoptera, famili Rhinotermitidae sebanyak 13493,33 individu/m3 dengan kepadatan relatif 21,17%. Sedangkan pada lahan TKM, kepadatan jenis tertinggi yakni ordo Hymenoptera, famili Formicidae 5, sebanyak 59946,67 individu/m3 dengan kepadatan jenis 62,79 %. Hasil analisis uji korelasi, terdapat korelasi negatif maupun positif pada setiap kepadatan serangga tanah dengan faktor fisika maupun kimianya. Salah satu contoh ordo Hymenoptera famili Formicidae 5 memiliki nilai koefisien korelasi (r) yang kebanyakan lebih tinggi daripada famili-famili lainnya, baik negatif maupun positif. Korelasi dengan C-organik -0,453 (sedang), dengan N-total -0,451 (sedang), dengan C/N nisbah -0,136 (sangat rendah), dengan Bahan organik -0,452 (sedang), dengan P (Fosfor) -0,382 (rendah), dengan K (Kalium) 0,573 (sedang), dengan pH 0,369 (rendah), dengan suhu 0,566 (sedang), dengan kelembaban -0,566 (sedang), dan dengan kadar air tanah -0,095 (sangat rendah).

ENGLISH:

Soil Insect is an important component in the soil. Soil insect have an important role in the ecosystem. Soil insect strongly influenced by environmental factors of the soil. The balance of the ecosystem may change due to human activities, such as, herbicides. The changes could be expected to affect the physic and chemistry factors in the soil and the density of soil insects. This research was conducted at the Coffee Plantation of PTPN XII of Bangelan, Wonosari, Malang that was taken on Immature land Coffee Plant (TKBM) without given herbicide and land Coffee Plant that was Produced (TKM) by herbicides. This study aimed to determine the density of soil insects and the relationship with physic and chemistry factors on land of TKBM and TKM.

This research was conducted in February-March 2016. Sampling was in TKBM and TKM lands of Coffee Plantation of PTPN XII of Bangelan, Wonosari, Malang. The identification was conducted in the laboratory Optics Department of Biology, Faculty of Science and Technology of UIN Malang. The sampling method used hand sorting method with a soil sampler in each plot (there was 10 plots) on the 50-meter transect line (3 transects per area / station). Analysis of the data used type formulas density and relative density and correlation test between the density of soil insects with soil physic and chemistry factors used Pearson's correlation coefficient with PAST ver. 3.12.

Density (K) and relative density (KR) of soil insect on TKBM land had 17 families of all families (27 families) that were higher than on the TKM land. The highest density of soil insect on TKBM land of coffee plantation of PTPN XII was soil insect of ordo Isoptera, Rhinotermitidae family as much as 13493,33 individuals/m3 with a relative density was 21,17%. On land TKM, the highest density is ordo Hymenoptera, family of Formicidae 5, a total of 59946,67 individuals/m3 at a type density was 62,79%. The results of the analysis of correlation test, there were negative and positive correlation at each density of soil insects with physic and chemistry factors. An example, ordo Hymenoptera, Formicidae family 5 had a correlation coefficient (r) that was mostly higher than the other families, whether negative or positive. Correlation with the C-organic -0.453 (medium), with N-total -0.451 (medium), with a C / N ratio of -0.136 (very low), with organic materials was -0.452 (medium), with P (Phosphorus) was -0.382 ( low), with K (Potassium) was0.573 (medium), with a pH was 0.369 (low), with a temperature was 0.566 (medium), with humidity was -0.566 (medium), and with Water level was -0.095 (very low).
