Fenomena Huruf Hijaiyah dalam Al-Quran: sebuah Kajian Fonologi dalam Teks Surat Al-Fatihah

ABSTRAK

Huruf hijaiyah sebagai unsur terkecil bahasa nampaknya tak luput dari perhatian ilmuwan dari klasik hingga modern. Di era kemajuan seperti sekarang, penelitian huruf ini tidak hanya berkutat pada artikulasinya saja, namun semakin meluas ke ranah makna. Penelitian ini ingin ikut berpartisipasi menyemarakkan penelitian huruf hijaiyah tersebut, khususnya huruf konsonan dengan mempelajari artinya berdasar proses artikulasi yang merupakan bidang pembahasan fonologi.

Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: 1) Bagaimana artikulasi menjelaskan kandungan arti yang dimiliki oleh setiap huruf konsonan hijaiyah? 2) Bagaimana hasil penerapan arti huruf konsonan hijaiyah pada penjelasan kandungan makna dari berupa kata benda dan kata kerja dalam surat al-Fatihah?

Penelitian ini merupakan penilitain kualitatif deskriptif yang berupa library research dengan paradigma pos-positifisme dan menggunakan pendekatan kajian fonologi.Pengumpulan datanya dilakukan dengan mempelajari buku-buku yang menjadi sumber primer seperti kitab al-khasais karya Ibnu Jini, kamus al-’ain karya Khalil bin Ahmad, dan sumber tersier seperti buku-buku fonologi karya linguis modern, kamus, dan tafsir al-qur’an sebagai penguat hasil penelitian.

Secara umum, hasil penelitian ini menguatkan teori Ibnu Jinni tentang kandungan makna setiap huruf hijaiyah. Kesimpulan yang bisa diambil dari hasil penelitian ini adalah: 1) Artikulasi huruf konsonan hijaiyah sangat berpengaruh dalam menetapkan kandungan arti setiap huruf tersebut. Berdasar artikulasinya, masing-masing huruf ini memiliki dua arti dasar, yaitu arti yang berhubungan dengan segala sesuatu yang lembut, dan yang kasar. Tingkatan kedua makna ini berbeda berdasarkan proses artikulasinya. Semakin sulit proses artikulasi, semakin tinggi tingkat kekasaran yang dimaksud oleh huruf atau kata yang mengandung huruf tersebut. 2) Penerapan hasil penelitian ini pada kata benda dan kata kerja dalam surat Al-Fatihah sangat membantu peneliti untuk semakin memahami kandungan surat tersebut. Selain itu, menerapkan hasil penelitian ini juga bisa meningkatkan pemahaman terhadap kata. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kandungan makna setiap huruf konsonan yang menyusun sebuah kata memiliki arti yang berhubungan erat dengan hakikat yang dimaksud oleh kata tersebut.

ABSTRACT

Hijaiyah letters as the smallest element of language seems not escape from the attention of scientists classical or modern. In the era of progress as now, this case study is not only focused on articulation alone, but increasingly widespread to the mean fields. This study wants to participate enliven this hijaiyah research especially its consonant letters with studying its means based on the articulation process which is the field of phonology discussion.

Based on mentioned reason before, this study has two main problem to discussed: (1) how the articulation of consonant letters of hijaiyah explain the treasured mean buried under these letter’s pronunciations? 2) how are the results of application these means of every consonant letters of hijaiyah for nouns and verbs in surah al-Fatihah?

As qualitative descriptive research which uses the post-positivism paradigm and phonology examine, this study uses the library research methods to analyze collected data. Data in this study was collected by learning every source book as al-khasais writed by Ibnu Jinni, al-’ain dictionary writed by al-Khalil, and another phonology books writed by modern Arabic linguist.

Globally, results of this study are strengthening Ibnu Jinni’s statement about existence of meaning inside each letter of hijaiyah. From these results, researcher found several conclusions, as (1) the articulation process of consonant letters of hijaiyah has very important influence in deciding content of the meaning of each consonant letters of hijaiyah. Each of them contents of two basic means, one mean is connected with strength and the other one connected with weakness. These content depend on difficulty levels in articulation process. More difficult the pronunciation, more strong the meaning that contented by the letter. (2) Applying the results of this study to analyze nouns and verbs in surah al-Fatihah can be very helpful to reach a more appropriate meaning to the verse being studied. In addition, by applying these results also increasing the understanding in meaning of each studied words, its caused by the content of these letters are connected with the authentic means of the words.

مستخلص البحث

حروف الهجائية كأصغر عنصر من لغة لا يبدو ان يكون ملفوت من انتباه العلماء سواء الكلاسيكية أم الحديثة. في عصر التقدم كما هو حال الآن، لم تتركز هذه الدراسة على كيفية النطق بها فحسب، بل يتسع مجالها على نحو متزايد من جانب المعاني. فهذا البحث يريد أن يشارك إحياء هذه النشوة خصوصا من حيث يدرس معاني كل واحد من حروف الصوامت الهجائية خلال كيفية النطق بها مع كونها كواحد من مجال علم الأصوات.

نظرا علي ما ذكرنا سابقا، قام هذا البحث على مسألتين أساسيتين: (1) كيف طريقة النطق بحرف الصوامت الهجائية توضح المعاني المحتمل داخل كل واحد من هذه الحروف؟ (2) كيف تكون النتائج المحصلة من تطبيق هذه المعانى الحروف علي الأسماء و الأفعال في سورة الفاتحة؟

هذا البحث كدراسة تحليلية وصفية أسست على نموذج أخر إجابي يستخدم طريقة الدراسة المكتبية ليجمع و يكشف و يفهم المعلومات من كتب المصادر و المراجع مثلا الخصايص لإبن جني، كتاب العين للخليل بن أحمد، و كتب فونولوجي أخر لعلماء اللغة الحديثة.

من هذه الدراسة، وجد الباحث عدة أمور المنتاجة، منها: (1) اهمية الدورة لطريقة النطق في تحديد المعاني المحتوت داخل كل حروف الهجائية على وجه الخاص حرف الصوامت التي قد درسناها في هذا البحث. فقد اختوت كل هذه الحروف على معنين اسسيين، واحد منه يشمل على معانى قوة، عظومة، و غميضة، أما الأخر يشمل على معانى ليونة و سهولة. هذه القوة المعانى يطابق مع درجة الصعوبة و السهولة عند النطق بالحروف المراد. (2) تطبيق نتائج هذه الدراسة مفيدة جدا لحصول على أكثر استعابا في فهم المراد من الأسماء والأفعال المذكور في سورة الفاتحة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، من خلال تطبيق معنى كل حرف يتمكن للدارس على ان يعمق و يدقق فهمه لمعنى الكلمة بسبب وجود علاقة واثقة بين معانى الحروف و حقيقة معانى الكلمة التي درسها.
