Abstract
INDONESIA:
Salah satu permasalahan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia adalah rendahnya mutu proses pembelajaran seperti model mengajar guru yang tidak tepat, dan kurangnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar. berdasarkan pengamatan peniliti di kelas X I MA Mambaul Ulum ketika mengobservasi proses pembelajaran alhasil selama pelajaran berlangsung siswa condong diam dan hanya mendengarkan ceramah guru, sebagian siswa terlihat aktif dan serius mengikuti pelajaran, sebagian terlihat lemas dan bosan, ada yang ngobrol sesama siswanya, ada juga yang pura-pura menulis sekedar mencoret-coret bukunya, keantusiasan siswa dalam mengikuti proses pembelajaran di kelas sangat tidak nampak. Terkait dengan upaya peningkatan motivasi dan hasil belajar, salah satu solusinya adalah pemilihan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Yaitu model yang mampu membuat seluruh siswa terlibat dalam suasana pembelajaran. Think Pair and Share adalah suatu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang memberi siswa waktu untuk berfikir dan merespon serta saling bantu satu sama lain.
Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah, 1) untuk mengetahui perencanaan penerapan model think pair and share untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, 2) untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan penerapan model think pair and share untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, dan 3) untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model think pair and share untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Siklus I dilaksanakan dalam dua kali pertemuan, (4X45 menit) dan siklus II juga dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan (4X45 menit). Tahapan pelaksanaan penelitian tindakan kelas meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, dan refleksi.
Dari hasil analisa, menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif dengan model think pair and share dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas X I MA Mamabaul Ulum telah dilaksanakan dengan baik dan efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa. hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan dalam setiap pertemuan. Berdasarkan catatan peneliti selama penerapan model think pair and share didapat perolehan observasi tekait motivasi belajar sisiwa pada siklus I pertemuan I 47%, pertemuan II 65,5 % dan hasil belajarnya mencapai 80,7 sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan I 83,1%, pertemuan II 91,5% dan hasil belajarnya mencapai 85,2.

One of the problems of the education quality in Indonesia is the low quality of the learning process as a teacher who use wrong way in teaching, and the lack of student motivation in learning. based on observations of researcher in class XI MA Mambaul Ulum when researcher observed the learning process the researcher fond result that students just listened to teachers during process learning, some students were active and seriously follow the lessons, other one looked limp and tired, even there are students who were talking each other without giving attention to the teacher, and there were also students pretending to write a book, it means that there are not enthusiasm for students in following the learning process in the classroom. Efforts of increasing motivation and learning outcomes is the selection of appropriate learning models that is able to make all the students involved in the learning environment. Think Pair and Share is a cooperative learning model that gives students time to think and respond and even help each other.
The purpose of this research is, 1) to determine the planning of model implementation think pair and share to increase student motivation and learning outcomes, 2) to assess the implementation process of the model think the pair and share to increase student motivation and learning outcomes, and 3) to determine the results of the implementation model think pair and share to increase student motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), which consists of two cycles. The first cycle is conducted in two sessions, (4X45 minutes) and the second cycle was also carried out in two sessions (4X45 minutes). Step of implementation of the research includes planning, observation, implementation and reflection.
According to the analysis result, it indicates that the implementation of cooperative learning with Think Pair and share model in increasing the student motivation and learning outcomes in subjects sociology class XI MA Mamabaul Ulum has been properly implemented and effectively in increasing the student motivation and learning outcomes. It can be seen from the research results showing an increase in every session. Based on the record of researcher during the implementation of the think pair and share model fond observations point based on student motivation to learn in cycle session I 47%, session II 65.5% and study results reached 80.7, while the cycle II of the Session I 83.1%, session II 91.5% reached 85.2 for study results.
