Abstract
INDONESIA:
Qirbah merupakan wadah air minum yang terbuat dari kulit binatang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh wadah penyimpanan air (qirbah kulit sapi, aluminium, polypropilene (PP) dan kendi) terhadap sifat fisis air (pH, konduktivitas, suhu, kadar oksigen dan TDS). Untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan wadah penyimpanan air (qirbah kulit sapi, aluminium, polypropilene (PP) dan kendi) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri. Air yang digunakan adalah air sumur mentah dan matang yang disimpan dalam wadah qirbah kulit sapi, aluminium, polypropilene (PP) dan kendi selama empat hari dan dilakukan pengamatan data setiap hari. Hasil analisis data menggunakan one way anova menunjukkan wadah mempengaruhi derajat keasaman (pH), kadar oksigen serta pertumbuhan bakteri pada air sumur. Pada qirbah tanpa beeswax untuk air sumur mentah nilai pH nya 7,2-7,36, nilai kadar oksigen 7,86-8,06 ppm dan untuk air sumur matang nilai pH nya 7,2-7,6. Pada qirbah dengan beeswax untuk air sumur mentah nilai pH nya 6,6-6,93, nilai kadar oksigen 8-8,26 ppm dan untuk air sumur matang nilai pH nya 6,83-7,13. Ini menunjukkan air sumur mentah dan matang setelah disimpan dalam qirbah kondisisnya netral dan kadar oksigennya sesuai dengan standarisai air layak minum. meskipun jumlah bakteri pada qirbah lebih sedikit pertumbuhan koloninya yaitu 46-69,33 koloni.
ENGLISH:
Qirbah is a bottle made from animal leather. This research was aimed to identify the influence of storage container (Qirbah cow leather, Alumunium, polypropilene (PP) and jug) towards physical water character (pH, conductivity, temperature, oxigen levels, TDS and bacterial growth) for about four days and observed every day. Data analysis using one way anova show that the container has influence an the acidity level (pH), the oxygen level as well as bacteria growth on well water. Qirbah without beeswax for raw well water had pH value (7.2 – 7.36), oxygen level value (7.86 – 8.06 ppm) and for boiled well water had pH value (7.2 – 7.6). Qirbah with beeswax for raw well water had pH value (6.6 – 6.93), oxygen level value (8 – 8.26 ppm) and for boiled well water had pH value (6.83 – 7.13). Qirbah had neutral pH and the oxygen levels satisfied standardization of drinkable water. Even Though it has the lowest bacterial colonies (less than 46-69,33 colonies).
