Abstract

INDONESIA:

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik frekuensi dan amplitudo terhadap nada pada gamelan kenong setelah diselaraskan dengan nada A440 dan menghasilkan simulasi gamelan kenong dalam bentuk virtual aplikasi. Penelitian ini diawali dengan perekaman bunyi menggunakan software Audacity, dilanjutkan pengolahan suara menggunakan metode FFT dengan software Wavepad Sound Editor serta perancangan dan proses pembuatan simulasi menggunakan software Android Studio. Dalam penelitian ini karakteristik frekuensi dan amplitudo gamelan kenong jika diselaraskan dengan nada A440 tidak semua nada terakomodir, hanya berlaku untuk berapa nada saja yaitu D5, D#4 atau Eb4, F4, A4, A#4 atau Bb4, serta B4. Dalam penelitian ini juga dihasilkan simulasi gamelan kenong dalam bentuk virtual aplikasi menggunakan android studio yang berbasis bahasa java dengan tampilan interface yang cukup menarik dan mudah dioperasikan untuk smartphone android.

ENGLISH:

This research was aimed to know the characteristic of frequency and amplitude toward the tone of gamelan kenong after synchronized it with tone A440. As the result, the simulation of gamelan kenong in form of virtual application was made. This research was initialized with recording the sound by using software namely Audacity. After that, the sound processing was conducted by using FFT method with software namely Wavepad Sound Editor. For the design and simulation process was made by using Android Studio. In this research, not all of the tone were accomodated when the characteristic of frequency and amplitude of gamelan kenong was syncronized with tone A440. It only applied to some tone such as D5, D#4 or Eb4, F4, A4, A#4 or bb4, and also B4. This research also produced the simulation of gamelan kenong in form of virtual application by using android studio which was based on java with interesting interface and easy to be used in smarthphone android.
