Abstract

INDONESIA:

Telah dibuat alat untuk memonitoring kadar gas karbon monoksida (CO) dan senyawa hidrokarbon (HC) pada kabin mobil menggunakan sensor gas TGS 2201 berbasis arduino. Pertumbuhan jumlah kendaraan dan meningkatnya polusi udara beresiko menyebabkan terjadi keracunan gas dalam kabin mobil. Kandungan suatu gas di udara mampu dideteksi oleh sensor gas tipe semikonduktor yang akan berubah resistansinya akibat perubahan penghalang potensial oleh suatu gas pereduksi. Gas CO dan HC di udara dengan kadar maksimal 1000 ppm mampu dideteksi menggunakan sensor gas TGS 2201 yang dikombinasikan dengan arduino. Sampel diukur kadar gas CO dan HC-nya menggunakan alat hasil rancangan dan gas analyzer secara bersamaan. Tegangan keluaran sensor saat udara bersih bernilai 0,58 V, sedangkan saat terdeteksi 900 ppm CO dan 90 ppm HC oleh gas analyzer tegangan sensor bernilai 2,218 V. Tegangan keluaran pada elemen II sensor dan nilai ppm hasil pembacaan gas analyzer dari lima kali pengambilan data diregresi untuk mendapatkan fungsi regresi dari masing-masing gas. Hasil pembacaan ppm alat rancangan menunjukan nilai eror 14,3% untuk CO dan 13,48% untuk HC dibandingkan dengan pembacaan gas analyzer. Buzzer nyala dan power windows membuka saat kadar gas CO atau HC melebihi setpoint, 200 ppm untuk CO dan 50 ppm HC. Saat udara kembali bersih buzzer mati dan power windows kembali menutupsecaraotomatis.

ENGLISH:

Prototype of gas level monitoring system of the carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons (HC) has been realized in car cabin using a TGS 2201 gas sensor based on arduino. Growth in the number of vehicles and increased of air pollution causing gas poisoning that occurs in the car cabin. The content of some gas in the air are able to be detected by the type of semiconductor gas sensor that will change in resistance due to changes in the potential barrier by some reducing gas. Content of CO and HC in the air with a maximum level of 1000 ppm are able to be detected using a TGS 2201 gas sensor combined with arduino. Samples of smoke its CO and HC gas levels measured using the prototype and gas analyzer simultaneously. Sensor output voltage when the air get clearer is worth 0.58 V, while the content of CO detected 900 ppm and HC detected 90 ppm by gas analyzer, sensor output voltage worth 2.218 V. The output voltage in the second element of the sensor and the result of ppm value in gas analyzer that collected from five times data acquisition regressed to get the regression function of each gas. The result of ppm value in the prototype shows the error of CO is 14.3% and the error of HC is 13.48% compared to the result in the gas analyzer. Buzzer will turn on and power windows will open when levels of CO or HC gas exceeds the set point, 200 ppm is for CO and 50 ppm is for HC. When the air get clearer, the buzzer will turn off and power windows will close automatically.
