Abstract
ABSTRAK
Perkembangan teknologi mobile seluler sedemikian cepat dan dapat dirasakan di seluruh dunia. Hal ini memungkinkan pengguna beralih dari menggunakan aplikasi berbasis desktop menuju ke ranah berbasis mobile. Khususnya pada aplikasi reader, masih terdapat fitur untuk membaca dokumen saja. Oleh karena itu kebutuhan fitur yang lain yaitu pencarian makna istilah IT pada suatu dokumen sangat diperlukan dalam hal usability.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode text mining yang mengimplementasikan algoritma cosine similariy untuk peringkatan dokumen dimana hasilnya mempermudah seseorang dalam pencarian makna istilah IT pada suatu dokumen. Pada tahap text mining ada beberapa proses yang dilakukan, yaitu text preprocessing, text transformation, dan pattern discovery/analysys menggunakan algoritma cosine similarity.
Data uji coba diperoleh dari situs berita tentang IT(Information Technology) sejumlah 50 dokumen. Dari hasil pengujian didapat 90% dapat dikatakan berhasil, sedangkan 10% masih kurang terhadap dokumen tersebut.
ABSTRACT
The development of mobile cellular technology so fast and can be felt throughout the world. It allows the user to switch from using a desktop-based application into the realm of mobile-based. Especially on the application reader, there is still a feature to read the document only. Therefore, it needs more features, namely the search for meaning in a document the term IT is needed in terms of usability.
This research uses text mining methods that implement the algorithm for cosine similariy range of document in which a person makes results in a search for meaning in a document IT terms. At this stage there are several text mining process is done, the text preprocessing, text transformation, and pattern discovery/analysys using cosine similarity algorithm.
Test data obtained from news sites about IT (Information Technology) number of 50 documents. From the test results obtained 90% can be said to be successful, while 10% still lack such documents.
