Abstract
ABSTRAK
Supervisi akademik kepala sekolah merupakan serangkaian kegiatan yang dilakukan untuk membantu guru mengembangkan kemampuannya dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan penjelasan mengenai supervisi akademik kepala seolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru agama di SMK Ma’arif NU Driyorejo dan SMK Sunan Giri Menganti, dengan fokus penelitian yang mencakup (1) Bagaimana perencanaan program supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru agama di SMK Ma’arif NU Driyorejo dan SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?, (2) Bagaimana teknik pelaksanaan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru agama di SMK Ma’arif NU Driyorejo dan SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?, (3) Bagaimana tindak lanjut supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru agama di SMK Ma’arif NU Driyorejo dan SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualilatif dengan jenis penelitian studi multisitus. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi: (1) Observasi, (2) Wawancara, dan (3) Dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dari ketiga metode tersebut kemudian dianalisis untuk mendapatkan temuan penelitian.
Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; (1) perencanaan program supervisi akademik kepala sekolah SMK Ma’arif NU Driyorejo dan SMK Sunan Giri Menganti disusun setiap awal tahun ajaran baru, dalam penyusunannya kepala sekolah dibantu oleh wakil kepala bidang kurikulum, (2) pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dalam meningkatkan profesionalisme guru terfokus pada tiga aspek, yaitu: (a) kemampuan guru dalam menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran, (b) kemampuan guru melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, dan (c) kemampuan guru melakukan evaluasi hasil belajar siswa. Dalam melaksanakan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dibantu oleh WK Kurikulum. Pelaksanaan supervisi akademik ini dilakukan dengan teknik kunjungan kelas dan pengamatan kepala sekolah terhadap kegiatan guru dari luar kelas. (3) tindak lanjut hasil supervisi akademik kepala sekolah berupa pembinaan secara personal maupun pembinaan secara kelompok, rapat rutin bulanan. Sedangkan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru agama kepala sekolah mengikutsertakan guru dalam pelatihan, seminar, diklat, dan mengikutsertakan guru pada kegiatan MGMP.
ABSTRACT
The principal academic supervision is carried out a series of activities to help teachers develop their ability to manage the learning process so that learning objectives can be achieved.
This study aims to provide an explanation of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of religious teacher in SMK Maarif NU Driyorejo and SMK Sunan Giri Menganti, with a research focus include (1) What academic supervision program planning principals in improving the professionalism of teachers of religion in SMK Maarif NU Driyorejo and SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?, (2) How does the implementation of academic supervision techniques in improving the professionalism of the principal religious teacher in SMK Maarif NU Driyorejo and SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?, (3) How to follow academic supervision principals in improving the professionalism of teachers of religion in SMK Maarif NU Driyorejo and SMK Sunan Giri Menganti?.
This study uses kualilatif approach to the type of multi-site research studies. Data collection methods used in this study include: (1) Observation, (2) interviews, and (3) documentation. The data collected from the three methods are then analyzed to obtain the research findings .
The findings of this study indicate that; (1) academic supervision program planning principals SMK Maarif NU Driyorejo and SMK Sunan Giri Menganti compiled beginning of each new school year, the school principal preparation assisted by deputy head of the curriculum, (2) the implementation of academic supervision focused on improving the professionalism of teachers three aspects, namely: (a) the ability of the teacher in planning learning, (b) the ability of teachers to implement the learning process, and (c) the ability of teachers to evaluate student learning outcomes. In carrying out academic supervision headmaster is assisted by deputy head of curriculum. Implementation of academic supervision is done by using classroom visits and observations to the principal activities of the teacher outside the classroom. (3) follow-up results of the principal academic supervision in the form of coaching in personal and group coaching, regular monthly meetings. Meanwhile, to improve the professionalism of the principal religious teachers to include teachers in training, seminars, training, and engage teachers in activities MGMPs.
