Abstract
ABSTRAK
Dalam setiap pekerjaan pada dasarnya membutuhkan yang namanya manajemen (pengelolaan), begitu juga dengan divisi public relations dalam kaitannya dengan peningkatan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan. Peningkatan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan merupakan bagian penting program divisi humas untuk tetap menjaga kualitas dan eksistensi kelembagaan dalam pusaran kompetisi kelembagaan ke depan yang semakin ketat.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memahami: (1) perencanaan public relations dalam meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan, (2) pelaksanaan public relations dalam meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan, (3) evaluasi program public relations dalam menigkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan penelitian multikasus. Lokasi penelitian di SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi dan SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi: (1) kepala sekolah, (2) waka humas, (3) staff humas. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cara dua tahap, yaitu (1) analisis kasus data individu, (2) analisis data lintas kasus. Sedangkan pengecekan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan trianggulasi sumber dan waktu.
Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) perencanaan public relations dalam meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan di dua lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan melalui beberapa langkah dalam membuat perencanaan, mulai dari mengumpulkan dan mengawali perencanaan dengan analisis kebutuhan, mendasarkan perencanaan pada hasil evaluasi dan rencana strategis, menentukan tujuan dan menetapkan budget, dan program public relations senantiasa memperhatikan situasi dan kebutuhan masyarakat, termasuk peningkatan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan, (2) Implementasi program public relations dalam meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan di dua lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengngan melalui beberapa strategi seperti melalui pelayanan maksimal, media, media, mengekspos keunggulan dan prestasi sekolah, melalui mitra kerjasama, dan menggunakan tokoh sebagai sarana promosi, (3) Evaluasi public relations dalam meningkatkan kerjasama sekolah dengan perusahaan di dua lokasi penelitian dilakukan setiap setelah melaksanakan program, evaluasi dilakukan secara menyeluruh, melibatkan orang-orang yang terlibat atau yang berkepentingan, dan evaluasi dilakukan sebagai wujud dari tindak lanjut perencanaan dan pelaksanaan program.
ABSTRACT
In every job basically requires that the name of management (good management), as well as public relations division in relation to the company's increased cooperation with the school. Increased cooperation with the school is an important part of the company's divisions public relations program to maintain quality and institutional existence in the next vortex institutional competition increasingly fierce.
The purpose of this study was to understand: (1) public relations planning in improving school cooperation with the company, (2) the implementation of public relations in schools to increase cooperation with the company, (3) evaluation of public relations programs in schools to boost the company's cooperation.
This study used qualitative research methods to the study design of multi case. Location of the study in SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Gondanglegi and SMK PGRI 3 Malang. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study include: (1) the headmaster, (2) deputy chief of public relations, (3) public relations staff. Data analysis was performed by means of two phases, namely (1) the analysis of individual data cases, (2) cross-case data analysis. While checking the validity of data source triangulation and time.
The research findings showed that: (1) public relations planning in improving school cooperation with companies in two locations with the research conducted through several steps in planning, ranging from collecting and analyzing or planning started with a needs analysis, planning based on evaluation results and strategic plans, set goals and establish a budget, and public relations programs always consider the situation and the needs of the community, including schools increased cooperation with the company, (2) implementation of public relations programs in schools to increase cooperation with companies in two locations with research conducted through several strategies such as through service maximum, using a variety of media, exposing the excellence and achievements of the school, through the cooperation partners, through the alumni, and using the figures as a means of promotion, (3) Evaluation of public relations in schools to increase cooperation with companies in the two study sites conducted every after implementing the program, the evaluation is done as a whole, involving the people who are involved or interested, and the evaluation is done as a form of follow-up planning and implementation of the program.
