Abstract
ABSTRAK
Peran Corporate Social Responsibility dalam mengembangkan pendidikan pendidikan sudah sering dilakukan, tetapi peran CSR di Pondok Pesantren masih relatif baru. Sampoerna Foundation sebagai salah CSR di Indonesia mempunyai concern dalam mengembangan pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. Kerjasama antara Sampoerna Foundation dengan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah memiliki “keistimewaan” tersendiri di dunia pendidikan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan Pengembangan Pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep Bekerjasama dengan Peran Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Sampoerna Foundation, dengan sub fokus mencakup: (1) Pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, (2) Bentuk Kerjasama Sampoerna Foundation dengan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, (3) Implikasi kerjasama Sampoerna Foundation dengan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Guluk-Guluk Sumenep terhadap pengembangan pendidikan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data data meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan dengan cara perpanjangan keikutsertaan peneliti; teknik triangulasi dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber, teori, dan metode; dan pengamatan. Informan penelitian yaitu Konsultan Sampoerna Foundation, Pengurus Pondok Pesantren, Pimpinan Madrasah, Guru dan Siswa.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah adalah pendidikan pondok pesantren komprehensif, yaitu dengan mempertahankan tradisi keilmuan salafiyah yang dipadukan dengan pola dan metode modern yang dianggap masih relevan dan pada akhirnya dimaksudkan sebagai peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah. Artinya di dalamnya diterapkan pendidikan dan pengajaran kitab kuning dengan metode sorogan, bandongan, dan wetonan. Namun secara reguler sistem persekolahan terus dikembangkan. Bahkan pendidikan keterampilan dan pendidikan masyarakat pun diaplikasikan dengan baik, (2) Bentuk kerjasama Sampoerna Foudantion dengan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah adalah dalam bentuk Program Peningkatan Mutu Madrasah atau Madrasah Quality Improvement Program (MQIP), yaitu sebuah program kemitraan terpadu yang bertujuan meningkatkan mutu madrasah dalam bentuk : (a) Peningkatan Kapasitas Manajemen, (b) Peningkatan Mutu Guru (c). Peningkatan Prestasi Siswa, dan (d) Pengembangan Sarana dan Prasarana, (3) Implikasi dari kerjasama Sampoerna Foudantion dengan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah melalui Madrasah Quality Improvement Program (MQIP) adalah: (a) Meningkatnya Kapasitas Manajemen, terdiri dari: Terumuskannya Visi dan Misi Pendidikan Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah, Integrasi Sistem Keuangan, Adanya Sistem Manajemen Berbasis ICT dan Manajemen perpustakaan dan pelayanan semakin baik, (b)Meningkatnya Mutu Guru, yang meliputi: Guru Dapat Memanfaatkan Teknologi Computer Sebagai Salah Satu Media Pembelajaran, Penguasaan pedagogi Guru semakin Baik, Penguasaan Subject Content Guru Semakin Meningkat, (c) Meningkatnya Prestasi Siswa, meliputi : Kemampuan karya tulis ilmiah dan sastra semakin baik dan Prestasi Siswa dalam Musabaqah Qira’atul Kitab tingkat Jawa Timur, (d) Berkembangnya Sarana dan Prasarana, meliputi: Adanya kantor Sekretariat Bersama dan Laboratorium Komputer
Namun disisi yang berbeda, tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa implikasi tersebut tidak sepenuhnya berjalan dengan baik, terutama dalam pengembangan manajemen yang masih lemah dan terbentur dengan kultur pesantren yang mempunyai karakteristik tersendiri.
ABSTRACT
Role of Corporate Social Responsibility in developing educational side is often done, but the role of CSR in Islamic Boarding School is relatively still new. Sampoerna Foundation as one of CSR in Indonesia concern in developing Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. This cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School has its own “specialty” in education.
This research was aim to describe educational development in Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep, is association with the role of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Sampoerna Foundation. The focuses are (1) education in Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep; (2) kinds of cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep; (3) the implication of cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk- Guluk Sumenep on educational development.
This research used qualitative approach. The data obtained by doing deep interview, participative observation, and documentation. The data analysis used data reduction, data presentation, and making conclusion. Validity test was done by research attendance extension; triangulation technique was from any sources, theories, and methods; and observation. Research informant was Sampoerna Foundation consultant, Islamic Boarding School Principal, Islamic School Principal, Teacher and Student.
The finding shown: (1) Education in Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School is comprehensive Islamic Boarding Scholl education, that is maintaining salafiyah study tradition which combined with pattern and modern method which still in relevant to improve the quality education of Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School, Guluk-Guluk Sumenep. It is apply the education and the teaching yellow book (kitab kuning) through sorogan, bandongan, and wetonan method. But, in regular school system skill education and society education are well developed and applied, (2) kinds of cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School are in the form of Madrasah Quality improvement program (MQIP), that is program quality development of partnership attempted to improve the quality of madrasah in the form of : (a) Management capacity development, (b) Teacher quality development, (c). Student achievement development, (d). Facility development. (3) The implication of cooperation between Sampoerna Foundation and Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School through Madrasah Quality Improvement Program (MQIP) are: (a) management capacity improvement that consist of: the vision and mission of Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School are made, fund system integration, the role of ICT base management system and library management and the better services. (b) Teacher’s quality improvement, which consist of: teachers are able to operate computer technology as one of Learning Medias. Pedagogical competence is better, subject content of teacher’s mastery is improved, (c) students’ achievement are improved, that consist: academic and literary skill and student achievement in Musabaqah Qira’atul Kitab in East Java level. (d) The facilities are developed, that consist: the existence of join secretariat and computer laboratory.
In another front, it is no doubt that the implications above not totally run well, especially in developing the management and this is because of the culture of Islamic boarding its self.
