Abstract
ABSTRAK
Idealnya semua warga komunitas madrasah diharapkan untuk selalu menginternalisasikan (menanamkan) budaya religius dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, yang diwujudkan dalam penerapan akhlak karimah, sebagai pengembangan budaya religius di komunitas warga madrasah. Menurut pengamatan peneliti budaya religius yang tersebut di atas belum maksimal dapat dilaksanakan oleh warga madrasah.
Atas dasar itu, penelitian ini difokuskan pada kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam mengembangkan budaya religius (Studi Kasus Di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis budaya religius yang dikembangkan oleh Kepala Madrasah di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk.(2) Mendeskripsikan strategi Kepala Madrasah dalam mengimplementasikan budaya religius di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk. (3) Mendeskripsikan peran kepala madrasah (sebagai leader) dalam mengembangkan budaya religius di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis rancangan studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan tiga metode yaitu, Pengamatan terlibat (participant observation), Wawancara mendalam (indepth interview) dandokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul setelah data dikumpulkan, lalu pengkodean kemudian diolah dan disajikan serta dibahas lalu disimpulkan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Jenis budaya religius di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk meliputi: (a) belajar baca tulis al-Qur`an, (b) shalat Dhuhur, Dhuha dan Jum’at berjamaah di madrasah, (c) kotak amal setiap hari Jum’at, (d) pelaksanaan imtaq dalam KBM, (e) pemakaian busana muslim-muslimah, dan (f) pembiasaan senyum dan salam. (2) Dalam mengembangkan budaya religius di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk, kepala madrasah menggunakan beberapa strategi diantaranya adalah: (a) Perencanaan program, (b) Memberi teladan kepada warga madrasah, (c) Kemitraan dan andil mendukung kegiatan keagamaan, dan (d) Melakukan evaluasi. (3) Peran Kepala MTsN Berbek Nganjuk sebagai leader atau pemimpin berkaitan dengan pengembangan budaya religius di MTsN Berbek Nganjuk menunjukkan bahwa sebagai leader beliau memiliki karakter khusus yang mencakup kepribadian, keahlian dasar, pengalaman dan pengetahuan profesional, pengetahuan administrasi dan pengawasan, pengetahuan terhadap tenaga pendidik, visi dan misi madrasah, kemampuan komunikasi dengan semua warga madrasah, memahami kondisi dan karakteristik para siswa, beliau juga adalah kepala madrasah yang dapat menerima masukan, saran dan kritikan dari berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan kepemimpinannya.
ABSTRACT
The ideality, most of the society around Islamic school are hoped to always build religion culture in the daily life, which has been being formed to a good attitude, as developing of religion culture in the society around Islamic school. Based on the researcher observation, religion culture which has been mentioned above did not maximum yet to apply in the society around Islamic school.
From description above, this research is focused to the leadership of Islamic school leader for developing religion culture (case study at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk). The purpose of this research is for (1) Describing kinds of religion culture which are developed by Islamic school leader Nganjuk. (2) Describing Islamic school leader’s strategy to implement the religion culture at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk. (3) Describing the leadership role of Islamic school headmaster (as a leader) in developing religion culture at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk.
This research uses qualitative research by kind of case study planning. The data collection method in this research is done by three methods, they are participant observation, indepth interview, and documentation. The data which are collected and given code then processed and applied then discussed and had been concluded.
The result of this research shows that: (1) Kind of religion culture at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk includes: (a) Learn writing and reciting al–Qur’an, (b) Praying Dhuhur, Dhuha, and Friday by congregation at Islamic school, (c) Charity box every Friday, (e) Wearing Muslim dress, and (f) Customary of smile and greet. (2) In developing religion culture at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk, Islamic school leader uses some strategies they are: (a) Planning program, (b) Giving good example to Islamic school society, (c) Friendly and supports every religion event, and (d) doing evaluation. (3) The role of the headmaster MTsN Berbek Nganjuk as a leader includes with developing religion culture at MTsN Berbek Nganjuk shows that as a leader he has to have specific characteristic which includes personality, basic skill, experience and professional knowledge, administration knowledge and controlling, teachers knowledge, vision and mission Islamic school, ability to communicate at all Islamic school society, knowing the condition and characteristic all of students, he also the Islamic school headmaster who can accept suggestion and criticism from everyone to increase his leadership. And in the realization applying Ki Hajar Dewantara said: “Ing Ngarso sung tulodho, ing madya mangun karso, tut wuri handayani.”
