Abstract
ABSTRAK
Kepala sekolah harus mampu menciptakan suasana yang kondusif dan inovatif dalam melaksanakan kegiatan sekolah. Berbagai upaya dilakukan kepala sekolah dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja guru, salah satunya melalui Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dan berbagai pelatihan lainnya baik dalam bidang studi masing-masing maupun hal lain yang dapat meningkatkan profesional guru. Kepala sekolah mengelola guru dan staf dalam rangka pendayagunaan sumber daya manusia secara optimal, menciptakan budaya dan iklim sekolah yang kondusif dan inovatif bagi pembelajarannya.
Fokus penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kinerja guru di SD Islam Ar Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri serta bagaimana tindakan manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di SD Islam Ar Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri berdasarkan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan serta pengawasan.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus dengan kasus tunggal di SD Islam Ar Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri. Bahan-bahan deskripsi didapatkan melalui wawancara mendalam, pengamatan peran serta dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian adalah Kepala Sekolah, Pengawas Sekolah dan guru-guru. Sampel penelitian yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dengan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik yang digunakan untuk memperoleh kredibilitas data adalah triangulasi. Data yang diperoleh dari informan dan subyek yang diteliti disaring dan diklasifikasikan menurut pola, tema dan topik pembahasan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan dua tahap, yaitu tahap bersamaan dengan proses pengumpulan data di lapangan dan tahap sesudah pengumpulan data.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa, (1) kinerja guru terlihat dari adanya kompetensi yang dimiliki yaitu kompetensi pedagogik yang memenuhi aspek penguasaan aplikasi pengajaran, dan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi pembelajaran, aspek ketersediaan bahan ajar dan aspek pemanfaatan sumber belajar, kegiatan ekstra kurikuler. Kompetensi professional yaitu memiliki prestasi kerja, kompetensi sosial yaitu kerjasama, serta kompetensi kepribadian yang terdiri dari kedisiplinan, etos kerja, tanggung jawab, kejujuran, kualitas pribadi guru dan tindakan inisiatif, (2) Manajemen dalam peningkatan kinerja guru tersebut yaitu terdiri dari perencanaan kinerja guru yang selalu memperhatikan kebutuhan, memperhatikan visi dan misi dan tujuan pendidikan sekolah, serta analisis jabatan pekerjaan, untuk kemudian menyusun desain struktur yang tepat, sebagai landasan utama dalam menempatkan orang/guru dalam posisi yang tepat. Perencanaan kepala sekolah berupa pengadaan program jangka panjang serta program jangka pendek. Struktur organisasi yang digunakan dalam peningkatan kinerja guru struktur organisasi lini yang telah dicetuskan oleh Henry Fayol. Di mana masing-masing koordinator memiliki tugas dan tanggungjawab yang berbeda. Dalam pelaksanaan peningkatan kinerja guru, Kepala SD Islam Ar Robithoh melaksanakan kegiatan atau usaha-usaha yaitu mengadakan pembinaan rutin, mengadakan supervisi kelas, memberi kesempatan pada guru untuk mengikuti, pelatihan/seminar/ workshop tentang pendidikan, mendatangkan tim ahli dalam hal pembelajaran, mengadakan studi banding ke sekolah-sekolah maju, penyediaan fasilitas penunjang, meningkatkan tunjangan kesejahteraan guru, membentuk forum silaturrahmi antar guru, mengikutkan dalam program sertifikasi guru. Sedangkan langkah pengawasan adalah dengan melakukan supervisi terhadap guru melalui teknik kunjungan kelas secara langsung pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran maupun pembicaraan secara individu.
ABSTRACT
Principals should be able to create a conducive atmosphere and innovative in carrying out school activities. Various attempts were made principals in improving teacher performance, one through the Consultative Forum Subject Teacher, Teacher Working Group and various other training both in their respective fields of study as well as other things that could improve the professional teacher. Teachers and principals to manage staff in order to empower human resources optimally, creating a culture and school climate that is conducive to learning and innovative.
The focus of this research about improving the performance of teachers in Islamic elementary Ar Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri and how the principal management improve the performance of teachers in Islamic elementary Ar Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri based on the functions of planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring.
This study uses a case study approach with a single case in elementary Islam Al Robithoh Full Day School Gurah Kediri. Description of the materials obtained through in-depth interviews, participation observation and documentation. Subjects were principals, supervisors and teachers. The sample was used purposive sampling with snowball sampling technique. The technique used to obtain the data credibility is triangulation. The data obtained from informants and subjects studied screened and classified according to the pattern, theme and topic of discussion. Data analysis was conducted in two stages, namely the stage along with the process of data collection in the field and after the data collection phase.
The results showed that, (1) the performance of the teacher looks competency that meets the pedagogical aspects of teaching application control, and, planning, implementation, evaluation of learning, the availability of teaching materials and learning resources utilization aspects, extra-curricular activities. Includes professional competence, social competence that cooperation, and personal competence which consists of the discipline, work ethic, responsibility, honesty, initiative, and personal qualities of teachers have job performance. (2) Management in improving teacher performance, which are composed of teacher performance planning is always attentive to the needs, pay attention to the vision and mission and goals of school education, and job analysis work, to then formulate appropriate design of the structure, as the primary basis in placing people/teachers in the right position. Planning principal form of provision of long-term programs and short term courses. Organizational structure which is used in improving teacher performance line organization structure that has been proposed by Henry Fayol. In which each coordinator has different duties and responsibilities. Teachers in the implementation of performance improvement, Islamic Primary Schools Ar Robithoh conducting or businesses that hold regular coaching, conducting classroom supervision, provide opportunities for teachers to follow, training/seminars/workshops on education, bringing a team of experts in terms of learning, conduct studies appeal to advanced schools, provision of supporting facilities, improving teachers' welfare, and create a forum silaturrahmi between teachers, QUOTE the teacher certification program. While the surveillance step is to supervise the teachers through classroom visits technique directly on the learning activities as well as individual conversation
