Abstract
ABSTRAK
Lembaga pendidikan Islam memiliki peluang yang cukup besar untuk menjadi alternatif pilihan pendidikan masa depan bila mampu merespon dan kemudian secara internal mengembangkan sistem manajemen yang profesional. Sehingga menghasilkan output lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki pemahaman pengetahuan umum dan agama yang cukup serta memiliki nilai-nilai moral yang sesuai dengan Islam. Menurut Imam Suprayogo, lembaga pendidikan Islam harus diformat dalam bentuk integrasi sistem pendidikan. Tujuan integrasi tersebut dapat dicapai dengan optimal tidak terlepas dari peran seorang kepala sekolah sebagai figur utama bertanggungjawab terhadap eksistensi serta kualitas pendidikan. Upaya integrasi sistem pendidikan tersebut dikembangkan oleh kepala sekolah SMP dan SMA Ar-Rohmah putri “boarding school” Malang yang tepatnya berlokasi di Sumbersekar- Sengkaling, Kecamatan Dau, Kabupaten Malang-Jawa Timur.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan secara deskriptif kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan sekolah dan pesantren di SMP dan SMA ar-Rohmah putri “boarding school” Malang, dengan sub fokus mencakup: (1) tipe kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, (2) bentuk integrasi sekolah dan pesantren, (3) peran kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan sekolah dan pesantren, (4) kendala dan solusi dalam mengintegrasikan sekolah dan pesantren, yang terdapat di SMP dan SMA ar-Rohmah putri “boarding school” Malang.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus dan penelitian lapangan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa menggunakan interactive analysis models meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, sajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan temuan dilakukan atas empat kriteria yaitu: (1) kepercayaan (kredibilitas). Dengan teknik perpanjangan waktu observasi, ketekunan/keajegan, triangulasi dengan menggunakan berbagai sumber, teori dan metode; (2) keteralihan (transferibilitas), (3) kebergantungan (dependebilitas), (4) kepastian (konfirmabilitas). Informan penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah, waka bagian kurikulum, dewan guru dan staf, dan siswi SMP-SMA ar-Rohmah Putri “boarding school” Malang.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tipe kepemimpinan kepala sekolah adalah kepemimpinan spiritual, dalam aspek pengambilan keputusan dapat dikategorikan menjadi dua yaitu spiritual demokratis dan spiritual otoriter. (2) bentuk integrasi sekolah dan pesantren adalah struktur keilmuan integratif dan struktur kurikulum integratif. Adanya bentuk integrasi tersebut maka terbentuk integrasi kelembagaan yaitu sekolah, diniyah dan boarding school. (3) peran kepala sekolah dalam mengintegrasikan sekolah dan pesantren adalah berperan sebagai manajer, supervisor, inovator, leader, integrator, educator, dan sebagai motivator. (4) Kendala dalam mengintegrasikan sekolah dan pesantren adalah pada teknis pelaksanaan kegiatan yang bertabrakan karena tidak terprogram sebelumnya yang menjadikan permasalahan pula pada tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan. Solusinya adalah musyawarah atau kordinasi masing-masing unit (sekolah, diniyah dan boarding school).
ABSTRACT
Islamic education institutes have a big chance to be an alternative education in the future if it can respond and then internally can develop management system professionally. Therefore, it can give output of education institutes which have the understanding of science and religion precisely with have moral value appropriating with Islam. According to Imam Suprayogo, Islamic education institutes must be formed in education system of integration form. The purpose of it can be achieved optimally without leaving school chief as a main figure in which have responsibility to get existence and quality of education in order to influence human source in their institutes in achieving their dreams. That education system integration is developed by school chief of junior and senior high school of Ar-Rohmah for female students of Malang located in Sumbersekar-Sengkaling, sub district of Dau, and Malang regency of East Java.
The aim of this study is to reveal descriptively of leadership of school chief in integrating school and pesantren in junior and senior high school Ar-Rohmah for female students of Malang. The researcher focuses on (1)The types of school chief leadership, (2) The forms of school and pesantren integration, (3)The roles of school chief leadership in integrating school and pesantren, (4) Problems and solutions in integrating school and pesantren, in which in junior and senior high school Ar-Rohmah for female students of Malang.
The methodology of this study is descriptive qualitative with case study and field research approach. The data collection is collected with observation, interview and documentation. The analysis of the study use interactive analysis models including data collection, data reduction, data explanation and conclusion. Verifying the validity of findings are done with four characters (1) credibility. Having extension time of observation, diligence, triangulation with some sources, theories and methods; (2) transferability, (3) dependability, (4) conformability. The informants are school chief, curriculum subdivision, teachers and staff, and students of junior and senior high school Ar-Rohmah for female students of Malang.
The results of the study show that (1) The types of school chief leadership are spiritual leadership, in aspect of take a arbitration could by two category, that is spiritual democration, and spiritual authoritative. (2) The forms of school and pesantren integration are integration knowledge structure and integration curriculum structure; The forms structure that integration the result that the fusing those three programs in unit school, diniyah and boarding school. (3) The roles of school chief leadership in integrating school and pesantren are manager, supervisor, innovator, leader, integrator, educator, and motivator. (4) The problems in integrating school and pesantren of junior and senior high school of Ar-Rohmah for female students of Malang are inappropriate schedule in doing activities because it is not programmed before and the place of doing the activities. The solution is discussing or meeting each unit (school, diniyah and boarding school).
