Abstract
ABSTRAK
Perubahan dan tantangan masa depan mengisyaratkan organisasi untuk selalu melakukan penyesuain dalam berbagai aspek, dalam hal ini disebut pengembangan budaya organisasi. Budaya organisasi yang mampu beradaptasi dengan tuntutan perubahan dan pengisi peluang yang ada akan mampu bertahan hidup (survive) dan berkembang ke arah yang lebih baik. Dalam konteks pendidikan di Indonesia, kemerosotan nilai-nilai moral telah menjadi semacam lampu merah yang mendesak semua pihak (lembaga pendidikan, orang tua, lingkungan, Negara, dan lembaga kemasyarakatan lain) untuk segera memandang pentingnya sebuah sinergi bagi pengembangan dan pembentukan karakter di sekolah. Berangkat dari permasalahan diatas, fokus penelitian ini adalah: (1) Bagaimana pengembangan budaya organisasi dalam pembentukan karakter Islami di SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School Batu, (2) Bagaimana proses pelaksanaan pengembangan budaya organisasi dalam pembentukan karakter Islami di SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School Batu.
Penelitian mengunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis dengan tujuan agar dapat memahami arti peristiwa dan kaitan terhadap orang-orang dalam situasi tertentu. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data meliputi reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menenunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengembangan budaya organisasi dalam pembentukan karakter Islami di SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School Batu yaitu lebih ditekankan pada nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam visi, misi dan tujuan lembaga, yang berlandaskan pada al-Qur’an dan al-Hadits. Budaya organisasi yang dikembangkan di lembaga tersebut adalah dengan melakukan berbagai teknik yang sesuai dengan karakteristik SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic boarding School dan dengan didukung adanya Share Values (Shiddiq (santun, sabar, loyal, jujur, ikhlas), Amanah (adil dan bijaksana, tanggung jawab, akuntabel, terbuka, peka), Tabligh (mampu membimbing, berjiwa pendidik, keteladanan, komunikatif, peduli), dan Fathonah (disiplin, inovatif, tuntas, berwawasan global, kompeten dan terampil) yang membentuk karakter Islami (nilai-nilai Islami melalui pengembangan budaya organisasi). (2) Proses pelaksanaan pengembangan budaya organisasi dalam pembentukan karakter Islami di SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School Batu dilakukan dengan penerapan shared values yang membentuk karakter Islami dan dijadikan tombak dalam menjalankan segala amanah, tugas, dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan kepada seluruh guru dan staff Al-Izzah. Pada basicnya, shared values ini tidak hanya digunakan di SMPnya saja melainkan diseluruh komponen-komponen yang ada di Al-Izzah. Baik di sekolahan (SMP-SMA) dan juga di pesantren.
ABSTRACT
Change and future challenges for the organization hinted always perform adjustment in manyaspects, in this case referred to the development of organizational culture. Organizational culture that is able to adapt to changing demands and opportunities filler will be able to survive (survive) and evolve into a better direction. In the context of education in Indonesia, the decline of moral values as become a sort of red light that urged all parties (educational institutions, parents, neighborhood, state, and other community organizations) to quickly view the importance of a synergy for the development and character formation in schools. Departing from the above problems, the focus of this study are: (1) How does the development of organizational culture in the formation of an Islamic character in SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School of Batu, (2) How does the process of implementation of the development of organizational culture in the formation of an Islamic character in SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School of Batu.
Research use descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach in order to understand the meaning of events and links to people in certain situations. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification.
The results shows that: (1) development of organizational culture in the formation of an Islamic character in SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School of Batu that is more emphasis on the contained in the vision, mission and goals of the institution, which is based on the Qur'an and al-Hadith. Organizational culture that developed in the institution is to perform a variety of techniques to suit the characteristics of SMP Al- Izzah International Islamic boarding School and with the support of the Share Values, Siddiq (polite, patient, loyal, honest, sincere), Amanah (fair and wise, responsibility, accountable, open, sensitive), Tabligh (able to guide, spirited educators, exemplary, communicative, caring), and Fathonah (disciplinary, innovative, complete, global- minded, competent and skilled) that make up the character Islami (Islamic values through the development of organizational culture). (2) The process of implementation of the development of organizational culture in the formation of an Islamic character in SMP Al-Izzah International Islamic Boarding School of Batu conducted with the application of shared values had characterize Islamic and spears made in carrying out any mandate, duties, and responsibilities given to all teachers and staff of Al-Izzah. At basicnya, shared values not only used in SMP it alone but in all the components that exist in Al-Izzah. Both in school (junior school and high school) and also at the school.
